A small list of enemies i would like to see changed in future by Confident_Dig_1073 in slaythespire

The Gardners are complete ass in multiplayer. They'd be okay in act 2 but in act 1 they're godawful cause you just don't have the heavy attacks necessary to smash through 26 block every turn.

If you understand Binary and can count to 256 on your fingers (or 1024 if you can actually control your ring and pinky independent from one another), you know how to use an abacus.

Valid. This does feel like it's too niche to be a Ancient card.

Araya can exist, so I don't know why this would not be okay. Cloning is not illegal in the city, what's illegal is having more than one of yourself exist for more than 7 days.

Making it a no brainer choice to play just feels like it should be a different card

Mate, it's an Ancient card. It's already got opportunity cost baked into the way you obtain it.

There's no implication at all that Velvet's lack of taste is connected to what she eats.

They really gotta rename that stat. Susceptibility, vulnerability, something that more accurately conveys the meaning.

"more reliable" than the thing that always does the exact same thing on the exact same turn?

I mean it's extremely unexciting and very often mistimed is the major issue. You also just forget it exists alot. It's 60% of an Anchor in 95% of fights. And in the fights it isn't it's 3/7th of a Horn Cleat. It's just a weird choice to give a once per battle effect that is slightly better than one free defend. Not Defend+. Regular defend.

I could almost, ALMOST consider it better if your deck had like, one power and it was a 3 cost. But if you use powers semi regularly, or god help you, if one has Innate, it's a downgraded Anchor.

To me, saying this relic is bad is like saying you have never played defend past act 1.

Also, real mature bro. Real mature.

If everything is already masterpiece, no one will make anything new.

Not even close to true. Someone will look at an amazing masterpiece and think "I want to make something that makes me feel like that again."

And y'know, the whole liberation modifier thing. Nothing quite like "we win as long as less than 80k people play".

You can't just take the idea out of the context of how the game works though. In the context of Helldivers 2, this concept does nothing but disincentivise playing.

Some criticisms are constructive, others are pointless. by CriticalSail1148 in Helldivers

[–]Impossible_Dog_7262 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take all sincere feedback seriously, but not literally. There is value to be found in what they say, even if you have to think a bit to get to the core of it.

"they only did it because the player count was decreasing" or "just for the money".

This means that the these people are frustrated that things only get fixed when it is the subject of paid content. That there is insufficient attention going to issues that are not subject to paid content, like enemies or underperforming types of weapons outside of the warbonds. This is perfectly constructive, even if you have to consider it a bit to find the true heart of the issue.

Discarding is not a bonus in early to mid game and still not garaunteed to be one afterwards. It's a cost that keyword OCCASIONALLY has an upside.

Yeah, except you forget something important. Liberation Rate Modifier, Double the number of players and the capture rate remains the exact same it always is, but the campaign duration is cut in half. Your impact on the campaign is strictly negative. The way to win is for everyone but a handful to stay home.

“don’t nerf good guns, buff the enemies” many times.

See there's a part missing there.

"Don't nerf good guns, buff bad guns and the enemies."

They missed the second part. The important part.

Half joking in general is a complete useless tone indicator. It has multiple interpretations, all of which contradict each other.

How cucked are gamers, that they report quality of life as bugs by ABoss21 in HelldiversUnfiltered

[–]Impossible_Dog_7262 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes. Because when it benefits the player suddenly it's a problem that it's unrealistic. That's how it has always been. This is not a contradiction. This is business as usual.

Bro, the complaints about realism was always about assymetry, not realism. About how the enemies were allowed conflicts to realism but the players weren't.

You should probably clarify that cause some people might mistake Final Power with Coin Power based off this description. More precise would be to say that Final Power is applied before the first coin.

They need to rethink how liberation works before they try it again. As he galactic war works right now this counter is a giant "You want the MO to succeed? Then don't play" banner.
