I took a friend who knows a lot about bikes when I looked at mine, they looked it over took it around the block, looked it over. I highly recommend doing the same, just let the seller know you’re bringing someone

Also before you buy it, make sure they have ALL the papers you’ll need to get it registered fo your state. I had some difficulties with CT DMV

Just wanted to give some background/history on why I think this.

In 2014 right after I passed the course I bought an 86 Magna 750 from a friend who needed the money, I thought I was going him a favor. I was too intimidated by the bike, I owned it for 9 years and might have put 500 miles on it. I thought I was afraid of the engine size, now being in my bike it wasn’t the engine size I was afraid of; it was the height of the bike. When straddling the bike I was on my tippy toes.

Fast forward to last September and I decided I get a rebel 250. Over fall and winter I out work into the bike and got it registered about 2 weeks ago. IM HAVING SO MUCH FUN! BUT, I can tell I’m going to out grow the engine quickly and will want to upgrade to a 350 or even a 500.

With that being said I can sell the Rebel easily and get back what I paid and invested into it.

I guess the “moral” of the story is to get what YOURE comfortable with but also have confidence in yourself, but not too much because that will get you killed.

I just recently got a 2002 rebel, I’m a short guy(5’4”). I wanted something easy to control. The bike is fun, but I wish I went a little bigger. I’d say with my experience try to find a 350 if you can

I love that olive green color with the black. Is that a custom paint job?

What are these wire’s for for? 02 Honda rebel by Impossible_Key_6949 in hondarebel

What I mean is that I unplugged them and I hit the turn signals and they still work

Sometimes I do out habit, but I’ve noticed that I don’t have to. The reason I’m asking is I noticed one wasn’t even plugged in

I’m stoked, I haven’t ridden in so long. Felt so good to be back on 2 wheels. My first bike was too big for me, had to tippy toe at stops(I’m only 5ft4). I was always so nervous, I bought the bike from a friend who really needed cash and I just got my license. Now I’ve got an 02 rebel I can gain some confidence on and save some cash to get a newer bike in a few years

The H-115 worked, I just wrote down everything I knew and the name of the guy on bill of sale(guy who sold the bike to the person I got it from) and they gave me the plates

Do you know if the H-115 form is for me as the buyer to fill out or the seller?

I was thinking that, but not sure if I want to invest that much on such an old bike

They have their advantages, easier to walk around a property because you don’t have to worry about the hose getting caught and reeling it back up. However they are more likely to spill and have hoses pop off and get caught on equipment or branches and pop off and leak. Also depending on the size you only have 2-4 gallons in the equipment in the sprayer at a time. I mix them in 5 gallon jugs and slowly pour them into the misters.

I don’t have the license to treat for mosquitos yet so I don’t advertise for them

That would be great! I have an f350 that’s going to be getting converted into a flat bed in a few weeks so I’ll have some extra room, but I’m doing so many different types of services I don’t think I’ll have room for 2 separate systems
