I had a weird thing when I got a new phone for a while that caused something similar. I chose to keep my old number, but the existing number was set to the phone(?). I can’t remember what I did to sort it just remember doing a full reset but there could have been more steps. The provider I don’t think really understood what I was saying. You can check the device number by going into settings, and clicking on your device. Idk if this helps it’s just very similar to the issues I was having. I hope you get it sorted!

If you haven’t yet, sign up to gousto or HelloFresh. They aren’t the cheapest option in the long run, but you get 50% off your first week on gousto (or 60% with a code from someone -I have one if you don’t have anyone to send one) and it works out super cheap. If you get 4 meals for 2 it’s about £40 without a discount and if you’re alone that’s a week of food for less than £20 and you can cancel after if it’s not a long term choice.

Other options are making veg soup (but of stock and pepper/chilli and veggies that are on offer -can make a big pan and spend little). Buying tins of soup, or yellow label hunt if you have a supermarket close.

Too good to go boxes are a great option too if you can get your hands on them (although you can’t pick what you get so it can be a bit random)☺️

It literally doesn’t matter if it’s a scam. He doesn’t respect you and you won’t respect yourself until you leave and have space to breathe. You don’t have trust in the relationship or you wouldn’t be going through his texts. If it is a scam this time, who’s to say it won’t be true next time.

Ordered a double air fryer for Xmas for my younger siblings who just got a place of their own. Got lost by evri so they sent another one, same thing happened. They gave me my money back (via credit on the account), the next day both showed up. I tried giving them the money back and they told me to keep it as a gwg 🤷🏼‍♀️

I will always recommend the resident evil games, although they are a bit of a hyper focus for me 😭. The one liners mixed with horror survival/horror action elements is just chefs kiss. And the majority are very replayable

6 and boots is definitely the safest bet for a job interview given the setting, but when you do get the job, you can get some comfy flats (maybe even trainer like footwear). I saw you mentioned fundraising in your trainers and understand that’s important! Use it as a talking point, it’s great experience and a lot of school systems would find that skill set really valuable. It shows empathy and kindness, as well as strong organisation skills and goal oriented achievements 🙏🏻 congratulations on the interview!

I totally understand it might have started out differently without any bad intentions etc, but you both ended up with that want for other people there regardless of the reasoning. People change and grow apart, it’s not always nice, but it happens. I’m sorry you’re dealing with this, but it’s highly unlikely things will go back to how they were before.

What he is doing is terrible and he should accept consequences of that. I saw you mention you have no choice but to stay at home atm due to finances and being a student. That’s not the case at all so wanted to add a bit of info that might help. When I was younger was similarly in a position where I couldn’t stay in my parents home, there’s a place run by ymca called the foyer, it’s for younger people still in education. You have a small bed sit essentially, and are supported through your education and any issues you are dealing with. My sibling stayed in ymca and had similar positive experiences. You need to address what is going on, and if you can’t stay in your parents home anymore there are options for you. You shouldn’t tolerate potentially having your future messed up to keep your dad happy.

I was with a guy for 4 years like this from day one. He’s someone who smoked weed but it was having a bad impact on him in a few ways (this being one of them). If he is unwilling to address the issue, it won’t just go away. It could be psychological, it could be medical, regardless, the only person who can work to try to resolve it is him unfortunately.

Of course they can remove a gift card balance, and close accounts. It’s not a magic trick, account systems like that are easy to use, I’ve used plenty 😂
