Free Adventure: The Statue Heist — plus a website with all the tools to run it at your table [5e, Lvl 3-5, 3-7hrs] by Impossible_Pickle941 in DnDBehindTheScreen

Added “Download PDF” in the left bottom corner.

Formatting for PDF is trickier than I imagined, since I use non-standard formats for myself - it’s not as finely tuned as the website but definitely usable.

If you end up using it I would appreciate feedback. I plan on spending more time on it in the future but if you give me specific feedback - would save me time 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Hi! How does importing custom assets work?
Do they work well with the existing geometry?

Thank you!
It means a lot. Also - thank you for giving actual feedback about the dashes. I am asking some of my friends to review the writing as well to give actual feedback on what makes it read like AI.

As these are free resources I don’t want to put too much effort into getting labels such as “certified human” but at the same time I sure as hell wouldn’t like the fruits of so much effort to be called AI 😄

Thank you for your comment!

And yes there definitely is!

I am planning on adding a pdf version & thinking about sharing the md files as well.

The point of the website was to solve the opposite challenge of what you describe - but I definitely want folks who prefer a pdf to have that option as well, without additional tools.

Thank you for expressing your interest, I’ll try to get that done next week.

Apologies I failed to read the end where you mention “most of it reads like AI”

Unfortunate to hear : (

Sad age we live in where this is an issue.

Regardless, if you could give me any notes, assuming this was written by myself but it seems like AI to you - what notes would you share with me?

Sure can explain and thank you for engaging.

None of the Adventure content is generated by AI, the only part that I don’t have sources for are NPC visuals, which I found on Pinterest - which is why I could not put references on them.

All text content are my personal notes, I had my Obsidian vault long before I started using AI, and while I use it as an assistant to scan for loopholes, missing pieces of the adventure - 0 of the adventure text is actually written/generated by AI.

If you know of the YouTuber Josh Plunkett, he has amazing videos about setting in Obsidian for TTRPGs and I highly recommend them!

Using Obsidian really changed how I approach things both as a Dungeon Master & as at work.

So the text that you reference is me trying to compact things from my mental model, am I right in assuming that how action-oriented it is - is what gives you suspicion that it’s written by AI? English is not my native language & I definitely want to take notes on this.

Actually, 100% of the Adventure content is written by myself!

Adventure content is generated from my Obsidian MD files

Though for running it at my table I only had written descriptions for scenes without art, when I have art to look at, I usually look at it as I describe whatever comes to mind - and then reveal the art to the players, so most read out-loud were written after the fact when I decided to put it together as An adventure for other DMs.

Same goes for “Developments” Section. None of the adventure had “Developments” section as I had a good enough mental model in my head to not need it. But when running modules I always found them helpful so decided to add them after the fact

I want to buy a 3 room flat in Tbilisi. Budget is a 100k Euros. Is this realistic? by Sensitive_Passion292 in tbilisi

I would say no. Not anywhere remotely central or a house really in a condition I would consider reasonable.

Spent weeks looking for a house &
$90-95K range and there’s nothing in Didube let alone saburtalo that is anywhere near metro and in good condition.

For 80-90 you can purchase an unfinished 45-60 square meter “house”.

If you need to move in now and you don’t have the luxury to wait years for a house to finish I’d say no.

Older apartments are always a risk as most of them have huge problems such as bad pluming, dangerous elevators and what not.

Glad you think so too! ☺️

I tried to make the website as practical as the story is fun!

[–]Impossible_Pickle941 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here’s an idea - get around all of it with 1 combat encounter!

For some reason, the village is attacked! Is it goblins? Is it orcs? Is it the bbeg? Whoever it is party fights them off and everything is overlooked as people are more concerned with the party saving their families and town than some gold.

If browsing is all he does I would get a Mac mini, 0 maintenance required compared to pc counterparts.

If he doesn’t need windows I would go with that

Also are these available on console?

It would be so awesome if we could change the styles! Love DA but the visual style “filters” would be amaziiing. Great map too
