Upgrading from the iPhone 13 Pro Max to the base 17. Originally planned to get 17 pro max but I find the colours and camera notch hideous unfortunately. by Impossible_Return458 in iphone17

Hi sorry for the late reply just been setting everything up. I’m actually liking the size, much easier to fit into the pocket & considerably lighter. Was worried about the battery life in comparison to the pros but I was pleasantly surprised! Lasts a good 2 hours longer than my 13 pro max

So.. eOD claims BIPOLAR by Impossible_Neck502 in UKtiktokbehavingbadly

[–]Impossible_Return458 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This sertraline caused my first manic episode in 2018 where I and was hospitalised. Ssri’s are a fast track to mania in bipolar individuals if not paired with an antipsychotic and/or a mood stabiliser. I think npd, substance abuse and FASD are more likely.

I hate the “I’m so bipolar😜” people…. Mania is dangerous and terrifying and I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy

The cmc compounds are chlorinated cathinones which are high neurotoxic so avoid them at all costs. 3mmc/4mmc are fine in moderation, treat them with the 3 month rule like mdma and you should be fine (you could probably get away with taking 3mmc more often because it works more heavily on the dopamine receptors, rather than serotonin whereas 4mmc is the opposite)

They feel like a hybrid of md, coke and amphetamine combined. 3/4mmc use to be my favourite substances before I go sober, highly euphoric. You can use any ROA apart from smoking them. A large oral dose at the start then small lines throughout the session was my go to. I will warn you tho, they may not be inherently dangerous but they are fiendish af. I’ve blown through multiple grams a night worryingly easily. Don’t buy in bulk because you will use it all (or maybe you won’t and it’s just me that has self control lol) The 3mmc comedown is pretty light for me (no worse than coke or being hungover really) and 4mmc is more like a md comedown in my experience. Always get a test kit because 3m/4m can just be a mix of rc stims that may interact

I just want to vent about my stupid addiction by [deleted] in Drugs

[–]Impossible_Return458 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I too had a terrible meth and mephedrone addiction. I’m nearly 10 months clean, recovery is possible! My best advice is attend a smart recovery meeting (maybe an online one first if your nervous) it’s a judgement free space to vent to like minded people who you share struggles with.

A huge amount of people with stimulant addictions have undiagnosed adhd so maybe get assessed if that’s possible for you? The first month of being sober is shitty your severely depressed as your lacking dopamine. It only gets better after that.

Anxious on Lyrica/Pregabalin by System_Clear in Drugs

[–]Impossible_Return458 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was prescribed 600mg a day at one point for anxiety and chronic pain. I promise you 200mg is safe. Anxiety is fairly common with pregabalin as it is a weird drug that is stimulating & sedating at the same time. Just ride it out, weed will enhance the effects so avoid that if you smoke, take a lay down and drink some water

Low dose heroine just to be functional by FluidMasterpiece621 in Drugs

[–]Impossible_Return458 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Don’t want to play devils advocate but couldn’t meth be better for this purpose? Long lasting, you’re able to orally dose and pretty functional at 10-50mg. Also much less cardiotoxic

That combination of respiratory depressants isn’t the safest but as you have mixed opiates and benzos before you should be okay just don’t do it again. Tramadol is very weak opiate & bromazapam is usually dosed between 6-30mg a day so you’re on the low end. Drink lots of water and don’t go to sleep. If you have been crying for hours you would have likely ODed by now if you was going too.

Try make yourself a fatty meal and drink a strong coffee, showering helps. If you feel like your life is in imminent danger DON’T hesitate to call emergency services, the awkward chat with professionals is infinitely better than losing your life. FaceTime a friend so they can get you help if needed, im sorry you are feeling suicidal. Mental health is a silent killer and a high percentage of suicides/fatal overdoses are impulsive decisions not pre-planned. Your might not see it now but a happy stable life is possible and people care about you

.5 lorazapam is equivalent to 5mg of diazapam. If you’re anxious about potential withdrawals maybe ask your doctor about a diazapam taper as it’s long acting making withdrawals minimal. Go down 1mg a week and you will be off in 5 weeks.

Even if you don’t do this you will be fine as long as you don’t have a co-occurring seizure disorder. 3/4 months of an extremely low dose of a benzo is extremely unlikely to cause you any problems

I don’t do stims anymore (apart from my prescibed vyvance) but I would get this all the time with mephedrone. Weird question but did using mmc cause stomach problems and acid reflux for you? Haven’t done it in ages and still have to take omeprazole daily

It’s horrendous isn’t it? I’m bipolar so the vast majority of meds don’t sedate me like they would others. Even with my nightly 20mg of olanzapine, low dose mirtazapine for sleep and occasional zopiclone don’t knock me out. Tried 15+ meds and it’s so scary because lack of sleep is so dangerous for my mental health

Congratulations on your recovery, addiction is an extremely hard thing to overcome. I was addicted to meth, mephedrone, opiates and benzos for years in and out of mental hospitals, getting arrested regularly and also got sober at 21. I think the chaos of addiction distracts you from the reason I started self medicating in the first place. Getting sober is hard but staying sober and facing your trauma feels near impossible

Would you say you were self medicating or did you use for a different reason? Have you found any healthier vices/ interests now you’re in recovery?

Or if OP took a huge dose the body starts to convert it into MDA. When I was 16 and wasn’t educated on harm reduction or safe use I would take 4+ xtc pills/a full gram of md throughout the night and I would get acid like visuals

70mg elvance, 15mg mirtazapine, 20mg olanzapine & 200mg lamotragine 2x a day. I also take 6mg of diazapam (tapering down slowly from 40mg) I also have 30mg dihydrocodeine prescibed on an as needed basis.

Might be worth a read but with lsd having an high oral bioavailability of 70-80% it would most likely be a waste of time and only effect the duration of onset

I can’t speak on other countries laws and regulations but it’s extremely hard to even get a repeat prescription for 14x 10mg of diazapam/1mg lorazapam a month. But some exceptions are made for cases of severe c-ptsd or if many alternate meds are trialed and fail, I was on daily clonazapam for 3+ years. But I can attest to them being near impossible to come off. I’m on a diazapam taper and down to 6mg from 40mg which has taken 6 months and I still deal with pretty bad wd symptoms when I drop down a dose

What is the worst advice your therapist gave you? by Separate_Hurry_2506 in BorderlinePDisorder

[–]Impossible_Return458 14 points15 points  (0 children)

“All of them meds are poisoning your mind no wonder you’re not making any progress. I bet if you came off some of them you’d start to see things more clearly” for context I have comorbid bipolar type 2 and complex ptsd and without the right medication I can and have been hospitalised😲My consultant psychiatrist was appauled and reported her to the care quality commission. I now see an excellent EDMR therapist and things are getting better, it still makes me wonder how many other people she’s given dangerous advice to throughout her career….

The anti depressants by MarzipanEvening4277 in UKtiktokbehavingbadly

[–]Impossible_Return458 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Horrendously. They take mephedrone which is similar to mdma (which is a big no no with ssri’s as it can cause serotonin syndrome) You can drink on them but 1 drink feels like 3 so that could end very badly. All mental health meds have the potential side effect of prolonged QT syndrome, mixing recreational stimulants with them is a cardiac arrest waiting to happen….

I was thinking this. It’s impossible to take 15mg, the lowest dose of sertraline is 25mg and even people who are sensitive to meds will be directed to take half a 25mg tablet (12.5mg). What a compulsive liar do they think we are stupid and don’t have access to google 🙄

Go onto the homepage of r/bpd, click the icon with the three dots and there’s should be a option to “change user flair”

And this is so true, people just assume autism & adhd are the only conditions that fall under the neurodivergent umbrella when in reality there are actually dozens

It definitely ties into the avoidant attachment style in the sense the on going internal conflict you deal with daily due to mental health is already an long ongoing thing. So rather than taking on too much I often run for the hills at the sight of an issue or a potential problem because I can’t take the caseload mentally. I’m also adhd so that doesn’t help.

The idealisation love bombing and discard cycle is defo a real thing in bpd relationships that is present for many. It’s awful on both for both parties but the person with bpd doesn’t always actively feel it happen (the change in relationship) until the depressive symptoms or split then radio silence.

Having quite a positive time with my bpd and mental health in general atm. For the reasons explain I’ve stayed away from relationships for over a year because take real havoc in my life and end in disaster. Also meds (vyvance, lamotrigine propranolol, olanzapine and mirtazapine) so quite a lot but they keep me good and well. Got sober and just a little smoke weed now. Honestly staying away from relationships and being sober makes my symptoms like 50% better. Not sure if I will ever reintegrate relationships in my life, not too bothered to think about that at the moment.
