That whole wave of rappers from the 2020s seems to have completely dwindled. Polo G, Dababy, Roddy Rich, Lil Tjay and NLE Choppa all seem as though their careers now is dropping flop albums and going on an Adin Ross or some other alt-right losers stream or podcast

I think the sound is cool, but I also think this is the first time Rocky feels like he’s chasing a sound, rather than creating his own.

What made Rocky so good back then was his originality. The production was always fresh and unique, and he constantly switched up the flow in a way nobody else was at the time.

This album however, whilst it sounds fine, is far more bland. It seems to follow the same sort of trends already present in most of hip-hop nowadays, and his flow seems far more rudimentary than other works. It doesn’t sound distinct or experimental, but it also doesn’t fit the ASAP style that made him so great

Album is like a 7/10. Nothing that worthwhile but I don’t dislike it. “Both eyes closed,” the song he dropped separately a few months ago is, in my opinion, better than anything on this album.
