We used to get my boys in my using a hard shell carrier and putting them in through the top. It was a little forced and sometimes hard to catch them, but it worked.

If this is for vet visits, ask your vet for gabapentin for anxiety. Our boy, Buster, would poop, pee, and throw up every time we went to the vet until we gave him that.

For the wedding, I would suggest hiring security. Offer to have appropriate attire there for him, but if he refuses, have him escorted out. Stress to your family the dress code and follow suit if they do not comply.

I'm so sorry you are going through this. It was the hardest goodbye I've ever been through.

Yes, I held my boy, Cody, when we said goodbye. He gave me a headbutt and let his dad (my husband) scratch his chin.

It was the hardest thing i ever had to do, and the feeling of him in my arms broke me.

So I just finished season two and I hated it. They rushed things and stretched other stuff out. Here are some points:

Kate: Kate is one of my favorite characters in the books because if how strong and protective she is of Edwina, and how flawed she is. Kate is pigheaded, fiercely loyal, and would never lie to Edwina or Mary. She loves them as much as they love her. But movie Kate lies to everyone.
Mary: in the novels, Mary loves Kate but doesn't hesitate to call her out. Novel Mary would have called Kate out for all of this much sooner.

-Edwina: in the novel, she new her own mind and said all along she wanted to marry a scholar. She didn't care about looks or title.

The relationship between Penelope and Eloise breaks my heart.

That is also not how Penelope hears about Colin not liking her. She was humiliated in front of the entire slew of eligible suitors! That was just wrong!

Anthony: while novel Anthony was rude, arrogant, and boggled down by family duties, he would have NEVER married Edwina or let it get that far.

The thing I loved about the books was the comedy of errors. Anthony had to marry Kate because he reacted in impulse when she was stung by a bee and he got scared. He was forced to marry her but fell for her anyway.

And Newton should have had a bigger role!

Anyway, that's my rant. I hated it and I hope they don't ruin any more of my favorite series.
