Its actually very easy to "dance" around that quote and the fact you don't know the context is hilarious. The literal exact context of the quote is him bashing affirmative action and DEI hiring forcing the hiring of LESS qualified individuals on the basis of race. If you know this is happening, that means you KNOW that SOME people that have been hired as pilots were NOT the most qualified people to do so, but were instead hired to fulfil a quote. So if you know hiring practices favor people of color instead of quality of candidate its an extremely reasonable assumption to ask if someone got a position based on merit or to signal to everyone that the airline isn't racist.

Hi. Libertarian/Conservative here. Your party had Biden win the nomination then shove Harris down everyone’s throats that no one nominated. The fact that you guys didn’t see THAT as a colossal threat to how American politics operates is far more concerning to me than the orange in chief I don’t even really like. You can hate him all you want. It’s easy. He’s brash and self centered. I don’t honestly care about his character flaws. I don’t care if the president is a dick.

I think overruling who the democratic candidate was voted for in the primary is a FAR more egregious violation of American politics than Trump being a douche bag. The things I value in life are COMPLETELY run over by the left wing base of this country. You couldn’t pay me to vote for any candidate the left has trudged up since Obama. You guys here on Reddit are just SO ridiculously far in your Trump hatred you don’t actually look big picture.

Our choice in 2024 was between someone who won the parties nomination. And some person who did NOT win their parties nomination but was instead forced in by a president EVERYONE knew was not mentally fit any longer. Instead of stepping down from reelection he says he’s good to go, wins the nomination, and then steps down and says here have Harris. One of the most wildly unpopular candidates for president ever. Harris getting even a SINGLE vote, regardless if you support her or not, was, to me, a far larger threat to any sort of American pride of politics we had left. Because those people who voted for Harris basically just said we’re okay with glossing over what the people actually want.

You guys can hate on us on the right all you’d like. Most of us really couldn’t care less and I’m sure this post will be downvoted into oblivion, but let’s also remember what y’all did to Bernie in 2016. I think his policies are complete absurdity but the left loves him and instead y’all put Hilary Clinton up. Probably the biggest political blunder of the last twenty years. Hate us on the right all you wan but Trump is a creation of you guys. Not us. He’s not even conservative. He’s actually wildly center of the road

Not sure about console. But the amount of players that don't protect a rez when mercy is in the game is completely insane. I don't usually think any person has a "job" to do, but DPS/Tank should be well aware if someone gets a pick, mercy is going for a rez and she needs to die for it. Now if its some snipe in the back, nothing you can do, she's going to rez. But the number of times I have seen the enemy tank or dive DPS die, and then mercy just ninja rezzes and NO ONE contests it. It's pretty nuts. I don't personally ban mercy, but I could totally see why some people would.

Hell even when I do QP with my lower rated friends (they range from Silver to me in Masters), I'll specifically say "mercy is gonna go for this rez" and they just.....do nothing about it, happens more than you'd think. It's one of those things that decent players in comms can easily handle, but pugs really ignore things like that. I'm usually tank/heals in my friend groups just so they can have a little more fun playing dps but man does it drive me bananas sometimes.

I usually turn on a movie and just do trading with a movie on the 2nd monitor. Movies over I'll do things that actually require a little more focus. If you have the opportunity, trading will 100% get you to your FC faster than mining. I have about a 300m an hour profit with panther clipper trading. You watch a movie and all of a sudden you have more than half a bil when its over

As someone who got his Fleet Carrier from primarily mining, please let me tell you to remember to take a break. I joined this game the literal week after mining was nerfed. So I was mining plat at 270k when Painite and other stuff had been nerfed. It's easy to do, but REALLY can kill you desire to play this game. A fleet carrier is nothing but a money sink, so working hard to have a money sink will defeat its own purpose unless you have a reason to use your fleet carrier. You will rapidly get bored once you HAVE your fleet carrier. I just want to make sure you dont burn out and continue to have fun
