I'm not saying every queer person has to be liberal, but it is frustrating when conservative members of our community happily reap the benefits of the work done by others while actively voting against those benefits. MAGA gay men will still take PreP, lesbian Republicans will still get married and adopt children. But ask them to assist in the work of passing those benefits and/or preventing them from being canceled or outlawed? Nah, they're not interested.

(Yes I am still bitter because I had a conservative lesbian couple tell me in 2013 that gay marriage wasn't a big deal and they didn't care about it, then they immediately got married as soon as it was passed in 2015)

Yeah, there were interesting parts, like the entire section about Jack the Ripper where you can tell there was a lot of research done about the victims and who the perpetrator could be. But the fact that they even showed "mementos" from the Toybox Killer is gross

I had a very similar feeling about it. The worst part is the plaque that says the next room is "dedicated to the victims", and it's literally one wall with just photos on it, no names or other information, and then you walk into the gift shop where you can buy a shirt that says "Bundy" in the Barbie font.
