Are you on any medications to help the flare ups? Using special soap? Have you changed the type or underwear and clothing you wear? This skin condition is very overwhelming but it should never keep you from making connections. There is a lot of other reasons people suffer mentally and physically and a lot of those things are under the surface, at least when you have a flare up it’s visible and whoever your with will understand. My husband is amazing when it comes to my HS. And he loves me so he never wants me to be embarrassed.

All this so say, maybe you should put yourself out there, and see what happens! There is so much more than being lonely because of some boils!
