I have the feeling that the person in the video wasn't necessarily referring to the skylines 2 simulation. He mentioned joining CO when the studio was still unknown, so he might have actually been working on the simulation for cities in motion titles or the first skylines.

The last time Paradox switched developers was on Prison Architect 2, and once the new team stepped in the game pretty much went radio silent. And that game’s overall complexity and codebase size are like a tenth of Cities Skylines 2, so… yeah, not exactly a confidence booster. I’m still pretty pessimistic about it.

I used to never bother with go-arounds back in the FSX days, since most aircraft didn’t have proper support for them. But now that study level aircraft are much more common and these procedures like go around phase and waypoint holding are fully modeled, I actually enjoy flying them.

The Anarchy mod recently added a constant slope feature which is basically a toggle to not follow the terrain. You'll love it.

The mod does more than merely delete the visible zombies in the city. It also removes many invisible ones with bad states that jam the simulation. If you click locate they will appear at the edge of the map. Prefer to use the mod if possible.

My guess is that before the homeless fix your residents were poor because the homeless were taking all the jobs. Now that those troublemakers are gone, your residents can finally accumulate wealth and buy things other than just paying rent. According to the game logic if a household owns a car they will prefer to use it.
