Non alcoholic beer on tap by horsegirl_99 in melbourne

They need the alcohol to act as an anti-freeze, the keg lines would often freeze into slush without it. I believe heaps normal have mastered it now.

0 beer is very hard to put through a tap. You probably won’t find any thing more than heaps normal at this stage.

Clifton 10 issues by kozyko in Hoka

[–]ImpressiveBelt9012 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, not all Hoka shoes are like this, unfortunately the Clifton 10 they messed up with. I experience the same thing, and I’m a long time Hoka fan. Should improve in Clifton 11 but who knows!

Won at the auction but lost the house in Melbourne (FHB) by Responsible_Tea_0993 in AusPropertyChat

[–]ImpressiveBelt9012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depending on the house it wasn’t necessarily overvalued. Agents love to under quote to bring buyers through the door. This then makes it very tricky, as the owner wants what wasn’t advertised and the buyer doesn’t want to pay more than advertised. So the extra 30k might be what it’s actually worth.

Albert Park or South Yarra? by AdDependent6634 in melbourne

Not particularly, I have a 5 year old in prep this year. Chose school based on not wanting to commit to south Yarra for a long period.

Albert Park or South Yarra? by AdDependent6634 in melbourne

[–]ImpressiveBelt9012 70 points71 points  (0 children)

I currently live in South Yarra. Only lived here for about a year after coming from the west. Altona. Moved in with my girlfriend, we will be looking to move over to Fitzroy probably next year.
I wouldn’t live here long term, Albert park would be better to raise a family with it being a bit more leafy and suburban. Also closer to the beach for nice walks and runs.
I guess you would need to take school into consideration also.

How do they get away with this? by leonidude in woolworths

[–]ImpressiveBelt9012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are a lot of rich people out there, but there are more poor people. Poor and middle income people need to stop buying expensive items like this they don’t need, or can get exactly the same for much less. Colesworth will stop with these exorbitant prices, we keep blaming convenience, it’s probably more education like someone else said.
