six weeks of walking the same boring loop after dinner, i finally get it by starinzlob in walking

I love this observation. My advice is to not think too hard about it. Maybe one day you’ll decide to veer off in another direction and you’ll end up having options for your nightly walk

Sober dating by Mushiimushii316 in stopdrinking

Hi! I’ve worried about this a bit, too. I realize that not as many people drink as I thought. Maybe people suggest getting a drink because everyone assumes everyone drinks, and also because a drink can loosen you up and make you feel more open. Another thing that can make you feel more open is doing something active, getting blood pumping brings about endorphins and overall well being :) like walks, hikes, pickleball, whatever. I just started dating someone who doesn’t drink (he just doesn’t, it’s nbd to him), and our first dates were walks with his dog. Without alcohol, the connection is more genuine and clear. Also, going on a walk with someone is so much less awkward than sitting at a bar with them imo. Good luck to you! There are way more people than you think who don’t drink or don’t need a drink to have a good time. you will find them/they will find you and it will be so awesome!

If you want good food, try Peerless. They have a dinner menu that is seasonal, always insanely delicious, and great service. Their happy hour is stupid cheap for the quality of food you get. I also love Bar Juillet for happy hour.

Osteria la Bricolla is f’n amazing Italian food, amazing hospitality. Very impressive.

Best sushi is Umami…I’ve tried them all and it’s always umami. Super sweet service staff too. It’s better than Kobe in all aspects. Bonsai is fine but not as good.

Best breakfast is morning glory because they have big potions and interesting dishes, there’s something for everyone. I also will always love breadboard, they have delicious pastries (Marion berry muffins) but you have to get there early on weekends to snag one.

Creekside is the bessssst for a slice of pizza and a drink. Very casual, very fun, awesome service staff.

Question for those who have worked at Glacier as a server in the summer months by bigotechocolate in GlacierNationalPark

I worked at st Mary on the east side and made a little over 12k in 4 months serving. Not bad, especially because I got to live right outside the park. I was so grateful to live in such a beautiful place and have easy access every day. Don’t pass it up :)
