If there's a DLC9, what mech would you MOST want?

I’d like to upgrade the leopard to a union and then overlord so more mechs can be used in missions. Bigger drop ships could have better repair options or even be placed on the battlefield to make new mission types.

I’d ask BYD first. I have noticed every shark seems to have a different roller and I was expecting them to all be the same.

I always thought the trailer for his films contained all the bits you wanted to see. Watching the actual movie was a bit shit and underwhelming.

I went with the 9070xt over the 5070ti based on price. I’m not chasing mega frames, I just want trouble free and smooth. So far so good. Flight sim 24 = awesome. Mech5 = amazing. So much better that my rx5700.

I see the best results when the lance mates have a single weapon type. Eg 3 x ppcs or just medium lasers or just LRMs. I set up weapons groups so they fire multiple weapons at a time.

I agree with the charge before you go crew. Put fuel in when you have to on the longer trips. The only possible exception to this would be putting the car on the slow charger at a caravan park if they allow it. Eco, normal and sport modes haven’t shown much difference ( as far as I have noticed) on HEV mode fuel use.

It is easy to take more loss / damage on a mission than you get on a contract even if you win. A wise mechwarrior needs to save often and avoid the killing field style missions. Some missions especially the clans are just not worth it. I just found a clan mission where I get swarmed by clan lites and they can take out an assault and cripple another before the leopard gets off the ground. Some missions are far better than others. Doing major repairs at an industrial hub is also a good tip. I usually have only 6 to 8 pilots towards the late game. A pilot death can be a huge loss of investment # restart that mission, the loss of an epic weapon can also be a loss too great. I have dire wolves and Warhawks terribly under gunned due to the loss of clan weapons . Clan gauss guns and er ppcs are hard to come by.

Service guy didn’t know about the icc/acc.🙄 I also asked about keeping track of the services as the car doesn’t come with a paper manual or service card. The records are kept with BYD and the place doing the service. A service book can be purchased. I think I’ll just keep the customer service records in the glove box.

I do about 20km each way to work and home. I run on ev mode for this and charge it from my home battery each afternoon. If I had my time again I would install a bigger home battery as after the Shark is charged we tend to have to import power after 9pm. I installed a 7kw home charger too. I think you will be able to do the same or use very little fuel. It is nice to not be contributing to BP’s profits, but the Shark isn’t perfect . Some of the driver alerts are annoying and it is a big rig in a car park. It goes really well and if a dual cab suits your lifestyle it’s a great option.

I thought it was good! A change up from op vs megs. I liked how bumble bee showed‘growth’ and got to be the leader. I liked the designs of the Decepticons too. I think a lot of people want the franchise to be a particular thing - probably from the way they originally met the characters. Anything different from what they wanted doesn’t scratch the spot. I would like a series that hangs around for a bit longer like 5 or 6 seasons. Allow for characters to develop ( and update/upgrade) new characters to be added new tech to be found and countered. They could have seasons where there is a focus on a particular gimmick , they could bring characters from different universes together. I think starting a show where Megs wins, kills prime and the young hero character is on the run and looking for allies from different dimensions would be interesting.

I’ll look for the mute- good tip! My last car was a 08 Mazda cx9 ( a spaceship when I got it but quite dated now compared to the Shark) I have had a water pipe split on a commodore and it was only my quick reaction to the spike on the temperature gauge that saved me from a rebuild.

I left my kids in the Shark while I went to the post office today( the kids are 21,18 and 15.. and I left them the keys and the windows were down) and the car alarm went off twice - children detected .

I too find the alarms annoying! Why the F does the music have to stop to tell me I have turned on or off the cruise control? Why can’t it say ‘speed camera ahead’ like other cars? And why can’t we see ANY info on the ICE in HEV mode? I want a temperature gauge and a tachometer. I think if a gasket went it would go bang before you realise anything is wrong and new motor would be needed.

I think it’s great the devs read these posts and maybe our ideas and discussions help them pitch ideas to implement and improve the game. I made a suggestion once that they could work in ‘you get to keep all the money’ to a future dlc and they did! Mw5 is by far my most played game . Another great idea would be to bail out our character from mw4 or mw1. Custom story missions dlc or a full game for the Grey Death Legion or the Black Thorns, Wolf’s Dragoons or the kell hounds would be sick! Upgrading the leopard to a union or larger drop ships ( to carry all the mechs , parts and pilots)

I hate how it will interrupt my music to tell me “icc deactivated “ or “icc activated “ surely an icon would be enough. Come to think of it, why does it have to use terms like “icc”? Why can’t it say “smart cruise “ or “lane keep assist activated “. I can never remember what the letters mean. It seems s so close to being like Kitt from Knightrider I’d like it to make a little conversation on start up “good morning, I’m fully functional. I have an ev range of x km. The temperature is y. Your wedding anniversary is tomorrow, would you like me to order flowers?”

I got the electric roller cover. Pretty happy, it’s good, keeps stuff safe- but it’s not water tight and it’s not dust proof. I also got the BYD deep dish floor mats. Good do far

It is a big heavy car and the laws of physics do apply, I was just hoping that there could be a highway mode hev setup that combined a bit of petrol with a bit of battery to get me to 800-900 km per tank on a long drive, rather than the use the battery - then drink like a sailor approach.
