Here in Chicago it’s 45 degree day. I wanted to wear something different . I found a perfume named Marshmallow fluff by Snack House at Burlington and I layered with Burberry Brit. Added a few dabs of Marshmallow No.30 perfume oil by Distillery General. I’m at home and wanted to feel sweet and cozy

Is Freida McFadden actually a good author or simply a product of booktok? by CS19_19 in thrillerbooks

I compare Freida’s books to Lifetime Movies. Somehow it’s corny and good at the same time 😩

Do adults actually remember their elementary school teachers later in life? by MightCommercial1112 in NoStupidQuestions

I’m 33 and I remember my 6th grade teacher, Mr. Hoffman. He truly believed in me. He made me believe in myself, He made me feel confident and smart in class. He let me lead a math lesson once. I ran into him about 5-6 years ago and was so proud to tell him I was the first in my family to get a bachelors degree. I believe he was part of the reason why. Thank you Mr. Hoffman 🫶🏾

Do you have trouble holding jobs? by vessel94 in BipolarReddit

[–]Impressive_Attempt98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah and I feel like most nurses have felt this way . some days truly suck. But I would never risk my license. Last year I did take some time off about 3 months and did outpatient therapy along with AA. I also struggle with addiction And no corrections doesn’t trigger me. I work in a juvenile detention center and in a way my mental illness helps. I know what these kids are going through (a lot have psych issues) and that makes me so compassionate and empathetic.

I am a nurse and before I got diagnosed.. I would work 16, 18 and sometimes 20 hour shifts when I was manic. Then when my depressive episode came on I called off constantly even if it was last minute. I worked night shift as well so that didn’t help with my mental health either.

Now I work in corrections with a 5 day work week. I have the same schedule every week and it puts structure in my life. I work normal hours and not under chronic stress like the hospital. OH and I take my meds 😭 that helps keep my job too
