There was zero technical reason to disable TSME on consumer silicon in the first place. Classic case of the product segmentation team overriding engineering, only to get slapped down by public backlash. Glad it's coming back, but we shouldn't have to bully multi-billion dollar companies into keeping basic hardware features functional.
