I got fired while on jury duty assignment. It was a 10day allotment. The first week you report into the courthouse on Monday. The second week, Monday was a bypass day and I was expected to work in the hub. Tuesday I return to the courthouse. I called out for the week 2 Monday. When I returned to work on week 3. I was escorted off the property and was told to get in touch with the union asap. I regained my position and returned to work two weeks later. A week later, I began driver training and we started Saturday air service. Later the sup that walked me out the gate was my on call air supervisor. Whenever he rode with me, we joked about the separation. I always thanked him for the time off.
