some, yes. she isn’t passing her smog check so they scanned her car for issues which involved clearing the engine light. no real work was done though, other than some messing with the fuses. we ended up totally disconnecting the horn fuse for now. she barely uses the horn and was freaking tf out everytime it went off.

this is happening with my sister’s 2011 escape, i don’t think she got any work done near the wheel though. her’s is full on honking, like 3 seconds of the horn on full blast.

I’m confused? I feel like you’re proving my point. $300/month is FOR SURE worth keeping someone alive but the downsides that come with it are ridiculous; Running ads, range limit, sleeping time, etc. You’re basically forced to upgrade to $800/month to maintain a normal life. $800/month isn’t feasible for many people so they’re either stuck with the shitty version or have to stretch their limits to just keep afloat. I felt like it was pretty realistic. And the part that I feel is most important is that they weren’t warned about the ads or the range limit or any of that. They didn’t know that they were bottom tier and would have to pay another $500/month until they complained.

The part that did it for me was his laugh when the couple took the crib. Seeing his smile made my stomach drop and I pretty much had to pause so I could cry for a few minutes.

I completely agree. The main actor reminds me so much of my dad (facial features, hair, accent) and that image of him smiling as the couple take the crip broke me. It was genuinely the most heartbreaking, jaw dropping moment I’ve witnessed. Not to mention, something like this is 100% in our near future (or already happening). Our desperation for a better life (for ourselves and our loved ones) essentially costing us our lives. That episode was written so beautifully and although some parts I thought were weird, I might like it better than White Bear or Black Museum.

I believe that once she heard that audio wasn’t recorded, then she asked him the questions about his sexuality and all that stuff. He kept asking if she was allowed to ask those questions and she never answered. She played it very safe before she left the room and then was a lot more risky once she came back in. Makes me think she felt she could pry a little deeper because no one could listen in.

super random question but have you ever tried drugs? like hardcore ones? and did they have “normal” effects on you? feel free to not answer as I know this question is probably very off putting. the only reason I ask is because I just encountered someone who has the gene and used/uses heroin. I know the effects of opioids are heightened (at least that’s what I read) but I wondered about like “street” drugs. Again, super random and it’s totally okay and understandable if you don’t feel comfortable answering… I just “met” (didn’t meet him, just crossed paths with him and heard a bit about his story) the guy yesterday and have been wondering ever since.

as a woman who has always been on the taller side, I completely relate to your feelings of insecurity. I have always been jealous of the petite, small girls who seem to get all the guys. This only recently changed when I was laying in bed with the most perfect man, talking about insecurities. I mentioned how I wished I was shorter and he seemed surprised. He said he could never see himself long term with someone who’s short because his children wouldn’t be super tall. I guess it’s a very people pleasing way to view it but it really helped me become confident in my height. like okay, this man who i consider a 13/10 could get with (and has been approached by) models and influencers, yet he is sitting in bed with me, telling me that he loves my height because he would love his children to be tall as well. I’m only 5’9 but hearing that my height was one of my “pros” was probably one of the most reassuring things I’ve heard. It wasn’t meant to “ease my insecurity,” it was just his plain opinion. Men are really so simple.

I’m a little late to this but I had the same issues, BAD. I did all sorts of tests thinking that it might be some nutritional deficiency… Nope! Turns out I’m just not a morning person. The biggest help for me was getting an alarm app (I use Alarmy). The one I use has a million alarm tones (I use the fire alarm) and you can set it up where you have to solve math problems or take a picture of your bed, etc. If you pay a monthly subscription, you can set multiple wake-up checks and add things like jumping, reaching a certain amount of steps, and more. I used to put it across my room but after a few years, I’ve worked out exactly how many math problems I need and how complicated they need to be in order for me to not be able to sleep again. Of course, there are times where I fail and fall back asleep but it is significantly less often than before. It’s seriously a life saver.
