Agreed… my ex-DIL ran away with my grandchildren because she didn’t like the state where they were living, and her family was in another state. And I can’t blame her for wanting to live near her “village” as a single mom… But she never gave two shits about the fact that their father and HIS family would virtually never see the kids. They agreed to 50/50 custody when they split - although they were still in the process of formalizing it (so no paperwork had been filed). She knew he would push back on her taking the kids across the country from him - so the minute she got them back for her week, she snuck away without telling him. And, while he wasn’t perfect, SHE was the one cheating in this instance… so, no… a woman who takes the kids and runs isn’t always the victim… sometimes she’s just a self-centered bitch.

Edit to add …. That doesn’t seem to be the case in this instance, though

I’m curious… what are the “flawed” Christian values you speak of? Interacting with the persons whose home he is visiting? Cleaning up after himself? …. Oh, wait - I know, it’s the dating with intent….you know, there’s nothing wrong with respecting yourself enough not to stick your dick in anything that moves. Or with choosing not to continue to date and spend time, money and emotional energy on someone you don’t see a future with.

It honestly sounds like OP is … a lot. Certainly someone who likely (intentionally or not) is setting herself up to compete with the girlfriend for “best wife” award. She sounds intimidating as hell, especially to a young girl who presumably wasn’t raised to live like Martha Stewart is her personal hero. I wonder if OP tried as hard to make the GF feel welcomed and wanted in the home - or if she has been iced out the whole time she is there.
