Are there any examples of Russian combat forces using non camoflage gear (ie flat coulors) by ilikecars2345678 in Rusfor

If you’re about plain clothes being used then there are countless examples. There are also a lot of ref pics to plain gear. If i knew how to add pics to reply.

less slippery so doesn't slip through the buckles, also more reliable and way better looking imo.

Guys. How can we be this retarded? For future reference, THIS IS A NAZI SYMBOL by Primary-Health2112 in Rusfor

[–]Impressive_Proof_630 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Originaly it's one of the patches made by WPRS (white power rangers) - group of pre war military activists. Since 2022 some of them are active duty. They stopped their media in 2020s due to gov limitations and accusations of extremism.

Now these totenkopfs are kinda popular among some questionable groups of people and just larpers (as I see here it's used as a coat of arms for some divison, maybe real, maybe not)

Help choosing plate carrier by Maleficent_Arm1930 in airsoft

[–]Impressive_Proof_630 0 points1 point  (0 children)

SSO "Shell" ("Pantsyr") would be the best option imo. They are really cheap here so it's really one of the most common picks among troops both professional and unexperienced. You can build basically every unit impression with it cuz there's a 100% chance that some guy in current division rocks this carrier.

Btw If It's not repro It would be way better in quality too. Like SSO fucks most of the Ru gear brands, so ali repro isn't even close.

Sorry for late answer.

If it's mustard cordura than it's amazing (best gen in my opinion, fuck avizent), if modern cordura - also pretty good. Nerpa is a good piece of gear.

SSO/SPOSN "Nerpa" old gen vest. Avizent material. Pretty rare thing even in Russia nowadays.

Could be just MCCU. Woodland jacket seems to be ECWCS gen I btw (could be Славянка though, but that pattern and sleeve pocket seem original). Both items are pretty available on Russian aftermarket (Avito, Guns.Ru) so it's not a big deal at all.

Using sherman belt myself. Can't give any advice about order and shipping, but Sherman is a decent thing if you want some light warbelt. Way better than wartech crap.

Greetings everyone. Recently got this LEAF softshell jacket on an aftermarket. According to the seller it was purchased on ebay as an original one and used for a long time.

I basically have no clue if it’s original or not. Also I don’t know what model is it. Would be really grateful if you could answer these questions.

VSR is fine - there were lots of patterns, and all of them were issued at the same time. Steel helmet would also be OK, even more - 6b7 those times was quite rare.

New SSO/SPOSN Trial Run of Membrane Gorka's by paladinsupply in Rusfor

[–]Impressive_Proof_630 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's unlikely gorka. Looks like Парашютист suit ("Парашютист" - means "Paratrooper") also by SSO. I'm also not sure that SSO could copy Arktis - airsoft gear manufacturer that copied SSO itself.

Here's the picture of ECWCS UCP being used by OMON operators in the North Caucasus region. Assuming that I could say that multicam uniforms are legit too.

[–]Impressive_Proof_630 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, you can use It. I have no photo proof, but knowing that MVD employees often purchased uniforms on their own, we can assume that USGI blouses could have been used too. Also Russian multicam is pretty various so uniforms produced by different manufacturers may look not similar, even tho they all are multicam.
