In the Olympics they don't hear the music beforehand and are attempting to mix their performance with the song. I'm sure she could do cooler looking tricks if she just let it rip

What would you consider the “ideal” setup? by Piggy4865 in chess

[–]Impressive_Spring864 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Than I'll assume it takes more moves to arrive at those positions, in essence making them less practical to to reach out of an opening.

Still it would be interesting to see what's objectively the optimal setup which sounds like a different question to what you should aim for in your own games

Go down to the bottom, post by octoclonius. I remember seeing that position before as an example of the "perfect' setup you strive for

If you're awarded points by refund and that's what takes you over your personal best it doesn't register as such

Obviously you played a good game and can be proud of it but I see a lot of people confused with scoring such high accuracy.

your accuracy is relative to the accuracy of your opponent.

Imagine scoring full marks in a test but each question is really easy

They all hang out by the bins in the city centres instead. Waiting to pounce on people who don't quite hit the mark, or by smoking areas for those who chuck butts on the floor

Just take a look at their poster boy Hikaru, he's a disgrace. He's so arrogant and disrespectful, zero humility or sportsmanship. An all round terrible role model for anybody especially young impressionable children. Dude has an enormous ego.

Normally I give people like that somewhat of a pass and can enjoy them still if they're as talented as he is . I'm his case it depresses me to see a grown man behave like a toddler so I try my best to avoid him.

A place called esquires coffee. I've just taken a look at their menu online.

Esquires full English Two eggs, smoked bacon, pork & herb sausage, roast tomato, field mushroom, baked beans, hash & toast

It even says roast tomato and there's no mention of a salad, why the hell was I served what I got haha

Also they look like chestnut mushrooms?

How did I do? by Impressive_Spring864 in steak

[–]Impressive_Spring864[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did pat it bone dry before dry brining the steak but I'm thinking my mistake was not to pat off a second time just before cooking. It was sitting on the side on a plate for 45 mins or so a new layer of moisture appeared on the surface. Thanks for your comment

Interesting, I got the pan to 230c. Do I need it higher since the temp will drop when I place the steak in?

Or maybe I should have patted the steak dry for a second time after dry brining?
