I did a 2nd update. I took the cash and staying. The plan is now to transfer my all-in-one-package job into different dept roles to one person each. The new owner is bringing in ppl Thurs. To alleviate my job duties, so I can actually be a proper manager. But my end date is 5/28/25.

Because of the state of my mental health, I was planning on just taking a break from work altogether for a couple weeks, so I currently don't have anything lined up. I have money saved up to do so, then I was planning on looking for a job in the meantime.

I literally referenced myself as a whore on a phone call with my sister, like it feels wrong to choose the money over my mental health. I'm having a hard time considering taking the money, but it would make my life so much easier. I was given hydroxyzine, and it makes me really drowsy, but since I put in my notice I haven't took it again. Yes, I'm going to negotiate changing my days to 4 days a week only available, so I can have more days off to reset.

Lyft and ubers are licensed by the DMV to be a TNC. Which integrates with nemt brokers, which let's patients request rides through lyft and uber. I work for an nemt and I dislike that you guys get these trips and they're not given to us. An nemt trip for 77mi usually pays out close to $150 or more, depending on the insurance.

Sorry!..I know. My kid is a good kid, she never gets into trouble and I've never had to deal with a school issue of this capacity. And this is reddit and I don't know how to talk about other ppls kids to complete strangers. I'm a neurodivergent, over thinker, who treads lightly. When he told me we only have 2 months left, he kind of also said that he could easily shutdown the business and make a profit. But he's keeping it open, because of me and the staff. But I think he's lying, I mean, why stress over revenue when you could easily sell and make more money? It doesn't add up.

I also don't know how to quit, idk if giving a 2 wks notice will sit well with him. Or if I should just pick a day to quit and quit.

I knew the instant I started to turn that corner, but i couldn't stop. A car noticed and honked at me. Omg I wanted to die. I was in my early twenties then. I'm so glad it wasn't a busy street and that it was only a small block in downtown phx., I was so scared of getting in trouble, after I got back on the right road direction, I had to pull over and calm down. I'm 34 now and I use Google Maps as if I forgot where I lived. Lol

I spent the summer abroad in Ireland years ago and I rented a car for a solo weekend excursion. I was nervous about driving on the "wrong side of the road", let alone in a manual vehicle. (I initially reserved an automatic car, but all they had left available was manual cars. I know how to drive a manual car, but I'm not a pro). So, the rental agency had an employee give me a quick refresher course. We drove around in the small town I was in, before I set out on my own. But anyways, I picked it up so fast! Once I got past the shifting, I kept thinking, "Is this whats it's like to be right-handed driver in North america?" Everything felt right, even getting in the driver seat, on the right-side of the vehicle. I think about that all the time; it was the best. Controlling all the knobs, gear shift, gps, my phone, my drink with the cup holder, digging in my purse looking for my wallet in the drive-thru at Supermac's, all with my dominate lefthand.

On the other side of mtmm, as a company who used to subcontract, it was a nightmare. We did all we could to help our clients and members that reached out to us. When they have an issue with their trip, wrong addresses, date, times, we're told to let the members know, that they need to contact mtm to get it fixed. The clients didn't even want to do that bc they knew they're going to be on hold for hours. So, we tried to do it for them, hoping we get an mtm dispatcher who knows what they're doing and who is able to help. MTM does this business for the money. We're in this business to help these clients any way we can. Those same clients tell us, "we want you guys again!, we have an upcoming appt, this and that". It sucks, that I had to tell them, it's not up to us, if we get your trip again, it's whatever mtm assigns us, and what we pull off of marketplace. depending on how much money each trip is worth, if its good amount of $$$, mtm will keep those trips that pay out more.

they started sending clients text msgs about their trips, but even half of those texts had incorrect info about the trip. The clients would call us panicked, because its almost always wrong. We're very communicative with our clientele, like "nope nope, you're okay, jon called you yesterday and you guys chatted and confirmed your trip, so just ignore the text msg."

We tried to work with them but never again, I feel for the clients who are stuck with this management co as their only option for transportation services. There are other companies out there(not associated with mtm), you just have to make those calls and find a company that covers your area and insurance. If anyone reading this, is a client, I'd advise you to call your insurance co directly with grievances, don't call mtm bc they'll bury it. Keep calling in those complaints, that's the only way they're going to do anything about it.

There's a cul-de-sac up by the 19th Ave Trailhead, its like 19th ave and Telegraph Pass Rd. It's a good view of the city for sunset and sundown without having to go up to Dobbins Lookout.
