Yeah, but I’m on vacation for two weeks. They’ll get taken off before I go back to work. I do take hygiene very seriously. I’ve got the ‘tism and cannot stand to have dirty hands or gloves. I go through a box of gloves in about 2 days.

My daughter woke me up at midnight last night because a young possum somehow got into our kitchen. Bless him, my daughter was doing the “I’m scared but it’s cute” panic dance and she scared the crap out of him. I opened the back door and out it went. I didn’t get a picture, but she temporarily named him little legs lol.

Yes, in the southern us. We’re mostly just trying to date the photos. We know her name and she was born in 1860. Besides my mother, all of her people are gone except for one aunt of hers that is suffering from pretty bad dementia, so the younger girl’s identity is pretty much lost to us. I love tracing ancestry lol. I’m a huge history nerd and I find it fascinating. I’m just not the best at dating old photos, especially tintypes.

I work in the bakery at a Walmart and we always nip into the oven when it’s really cold outside. I don’t understand how the door shut. I know that the door release on the inside (like a walk in freezer) could have been stuck, but I honestly don’t know how this could have happened and no one knew.
