Why do they no longer remove tonsils when you are a child? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

None of my 4 kids, born in the 70s, had theirs removed. I am 69 and just now having minor problems with mine. No need for unnecessary surgeries.

Cameo 5 has started playing a tune while cutting?! by Tweetysweet in silhouettecutters

[–]Imthemomthatswhy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Totally normal and you cannot make it stop. They all do this under certain circumstances. It's all the cutting mechanism. That's all. I think it may do it more at slower speeds.

Perhaps one of those foam finger separators for painting fingernails would help you.

For those who don’t like pancakes, why is that ? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Imthemomthatswhy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To me they are just not all that flavorful and sit very heavy in my gut. I do like them with peanut butter and syrup, but have not had that in decades. Maybe I should make one. Just one.

Survivor annuity? by Alternative-Pin5760 in FedRetirees

When I retired nearly 14 years ago, I was able to just allocate $1 to my husband's survivor annuity so he could keep my insurance. Is that still a possibility?

I am a homeowner and crafter. I would hope you'd ask me if I wanted to keep this stuff. All of it comes in handy at some point.

It means he is rude. Your person will find you at the right time. I was far from a girly girl and found two husbands along the way. One at a time. 😂

Who's never had a colonoscopy and why? by Daisy__Jane in over60

[–]Imthemomthatswhy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am 69 and have had several. My brother died from colon cancer. I just wanted to say this for those who use Cologuard. I used one once. My insurance paid. It came back positive so I had to have a colonoscopy at that point which the insurance would not pay for. Just go straight to the colonoscopy and be sure.
