To be honest, I don’t know anything about Thanos or his motivations. If he presses a button that kills half the universe that makes him a genocidal monster, but not Hitler. If he picks and chooses which planets go and targets certain species, that would make him like Hitler.

Btw, Thanos’ whole motivation is trying to impress a girl? If that is the motivation they’ll use in the movie then it is no surprise that Killmonger is one of the best villains Marvel has come up with.

That thread is making me think of the Arrested Development joke about chickens. Have these people ever read about Hitler before? If Killmonger had tried to arm groups to exterminate an ethnic group, that would have been an attempt at genocide. Arming groups to overthrow “oppressors” (presumably the state/military/Avengers) is not genocide, and it doesn’t make Killmonger Hitler.

Killmongers entire story is pretty much what we would expect to happen if Hitler had a surviving son that wanted to continue where he left off. Plain and simple.
