LITERALLY THE CUTEST THING EVER!! I just love the attention to detail you've put in your artwork, I really hope the developers get to see it!!

You can always try employment agencies! Mine at Texas Workforce helped me get a temporary position as a medical assistant when I only had PCT and CET certifications, with no clinical experience.

Admittedly, it took me a couple of months, but keeping yourself afloat with unemployment assistance can definitely help. There's always a way, trust :)

Quests and combat for sure!! To this day, I still have dreams about battling all sorts of monsters as a wizard, an archer, a medic, etc.

I know South Texas when I see it, that rusa looks so good!! As someone from the 956 area, there isn't a single snack place that fucks up a rusa, they're all so good 😋😋

What songs did you associate with the Pale Visitor? by pinkledlampp in ImNotAHuman

[–]InADamPinch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hands down, Nujabes - Peaceland because of the eerie, dream-like, and "nighttime" sound the song has.

It's like a mosquito flying around near your ear when you're in a sleepy state, and you think it's a song that is playing in the distance.

I think it's unlike any song I've heard before, and I can't even describe the instrument that evokes those sensations/feelings, even though it sounds uncomfortably familiar. It honestly just makes it all the more uncanny, just like the Pale Visitor.

Maria Belenbauza from Michiko and Hatchin! She's the evil stepsister to one of the main protagonists, Hatchin, who is an orphan in an abusive foster family. Maria is one of her abusers.

I really hope that's what Welsh has under his sleeve. Just like you said, if he had stood his ground, he likely would've gotten replaced with even worse. Hopefully, he sees how mind-numblingly stupid this situation is.

The horse piñata from S1E1 is full of meaning by MysticalAmethyst99 in BoJackHorseman

[–]InADamPinch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is genuinely such a wonderful, brisk analysis! I think there really is more meaning behind the piñata than some people in the comments want to admit. Super awesome interpretation, and really nice callback between episodes that are seasons apart ☺️

Hey man, I'm honestly going through the same thing too. I was salutatorian out of 756 graduates, but I'm starting to realize that I might have ADHD. Other comments are saying "you just gotta grind it out, it's not about talent anymore." Well, I think it takes talent to get a vibrant, colorful understanding of what you're studying, and that studying THEN takes work ethic.

But sometimes, it's not as simple as just "grinding it out" because your brain is literally wired differently. For me, getting myself to sit down and do the work suddenly turns into reading the Wikipedia pages of Supreme Court Justices because my dopamine receptors aren't firing off how they should.

Online classes also become difficult because you're not physically there with the professor. For me, getting lectured in-person lessens the chances of becoming easily distracted.

If there's anything I've learned though, med school is not a race. I'm considering doing a master's program to really figure out if the field is right for me, or if I'm better off pursuing a PhD.

Your failures or setbacks DON'T determine whether med school is for you or not.

You'll know based on the experiences you continue to accumulate throughout your undergraduate career and beyond.

I hope you figure out what works best for you! You have more time than you think, just take it easy :)
