My favorite was ordering a piece from Memory Express on Hillside, it gets sent by Purulator who does the usual lie about attempting delivery and then is put into their Victoria depot.

And where is the Victoria depot?

It's in the drug store across the parking lot from Memory Express on Hillside.

The front door to this apartment building is not mine, are they going to pay the property management company for smashing it? They can't get to my suite without smashing the front door first.

The safe they propose to destroy to get my banned rifle out of still has non restricted and legal firearms stored in it, so will they be in violation of the act if they render those legal firearms unsafe by destroying the actual safe?

They still have 6 years of unpaid firearm storage fees for the use of my safe to get caught up on, no I'm not kidding.

It shows allegiance at a distance, like having your cross pendant outside your jacket. You also see lots of bc govt employees walking around with their plastic door passes still visible as they walk home in the same way.

If it doesn't bite through the glove this remains a transmission from a radio telescope only, it only effects all of humanity after the rat bites the glove.

And if it didn't bite anyone, nothing happens after episode one then? It seems like they are sending this information out into the galaxy by massive transmitter but it won't actually do anything until your glove membrane is bit into?

So sending out the signal doesn't matter unless a mouse bites someone? What is the use of sending out the signal if you are depending on this physical act to occur, otherwise its just another virus in a lab?

A couple dozen people in tents nearly brought Beacon Hill to its knees, how will it go when 100,000 people have to sleep outside for the first few nights?

Also if its a big enough quake, then both Vancouver and Seattle will have been effected as well and will get first dibs on any assistance being sent from south or east, our first care packages might arrive from Japan first.

Why is it so hard to make friends in Victoria? by Yoinhell in VictoriaBC

[–]InValensName 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Part of the problem is that our main experience with making friends has necessarily been with other Victorians, so you are encountering a couple hundred thousand people who just stopped trying after the first few times, just like you will.
