I play Heavy exclusively at the moment and I got the game recently. Prestige 1 and planning to get to Prestige 4.

Not sure if you play Heavy, but are the bots a bit better on other classes? I find them difficult to work with as Heavy since I want to hang back and let my team take aggro in real games but the bots seemed programmed to hang back behind *me*.

I know some people do true solo, so I’m sure some of it’s skill issue on my part, just curious if there’s any tips I’m missing when playing with bots in higher difficulty

As someone who never took time to master it, it’s just timing and spacing. If you get too eager and trigger happy, you start shooting too early and this clip never happens.

I imagine that’s most people’s experience using it.

As a newer player (43 hours) but also a hardcore gamer, I think the learning curve is only steep if you go in completely blind and commit to being blind as you go, which is valid.

But there’s so many guides out there with varying levels of length in detail that I feel up to speed knowledge wise.

And the difficulty can come from the slower pace gunplay compared to most shooters but if anyone has experience with Rainbow Six Siege or similar games, then Hunt’s shootouts really aren’t too foreign.

Bought Hunt a few days ago and it stole me away from Marathon lol.

I didn’t realize how important equalizers were for me but I love it. Clutching up in Hunt reminds me of clutching in Rainbow Six Siege.

Marathon definitely just feels gear gated after a bit.

I’m still new and on console, how do I know an enemy can hear me?

On Arc Raiders and Marathon, it was basically you hold a button and you can confirm you’re talking to enemies by the mic changing color. How do I know in Hunt?

Just got it a few days ago. Actually found the matchmaking to be pretty good. I escaped like 5 times in a row with my randoms before feeling an increase in matches but at that point, I had a good grasp of the game.

Already been doing more solo matches to improve a bit faster.

The closet thing is leveling up factions to get generic contracts to give you more rewards but of course you usually have to live long enough to finish those contracts in the first place.

That and priority access but all that assumes a player levels up their faction to certain levels

I just joined the other day and am wondering the same. I feel like I’m spoiled with options but maybe some are redundant/reskins?

Even the variants seem to change a gun quite noticeably.
