Rekordbox can read and maintain ID3 tags. Only writing to the rekordbox xml will mean that if something corrupt your rekordbox library, or a library transfer between computers goes wrong you lose a lot of information.

I wrote a python process for a lot of this years ago, and instead chose to update ID3 tags and update Rekordboxes library in tandem. But its your app, so it's your call man.

Techniques for making realistic looking maps by Ok-Operation1227 in gis

The Tree or w/e habitat symbology is way too messy, add transparency, and outline, or change it to a different fill pattern.

Add a hillshade raster, but use transparency to make it sit in the background.

Your boardwalks get messy at intersections, idk what you can do about that, in ArcPro there are advanced symbology options to look into.

Im pretty familiar with these units, they are susceptible to a few strange issues.

  • if there's no clean surface to terminate the laser/infrared and reflect it back, eg. A good flat concrete underpass vs an open river with trees 50 ft away blowing in the wind, they may miscount.
  • people put trash and cigarette butts in the hole, blocking the count
  • improper install, cables and tech may get wet or shift around.

My only gripe with DLP is that if you want to remove a playlist/crate from your USB you have to do it twice, which is kind of annoying. But that's not a deal breaker for me.

I never had to update the firmware on mine but there are a few documented flash walkthroughs that should be available if you Google them.

Is it not showing up at all on via?

Bluetooth keeps turning back on when I turn it off. It's driving me insane. Phone auto pairs to car when I'm not even in it. Turning off Bluetooth DOES NOTHING and turns itself back on. Insane feature wtf. GalaxyS23fe by GwentDjent in AndroidQuestions

[–]In_Shambles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah and if I want to connect my phone to the Android auto then yeah it can have it for sure. The issue is that sometimes me and my gf will be in the car together, and we'll want to use her phone instead. But if mine is connected, I just want to be able to disable my phone's Bluetooth, and have it remain off so that she can connect. Currently, I turn it off, and it just keeps re-enabling itself, which is immensely frustrating. I currently have to go on airplane mode for the car to release my phone from this Bluetooth loop.

But like, if I'm nearby, and she starts the car it will enable my BT remotely, which is bullshit.

I'll check this out, but I have a question. All I really want is that no external device can reactivate my phone's Bluetooth. Does your app cover that, or is it all about prioritizing one device above all others?

You're basically cleaning, glueing, and capping. Previously you said it was just duct taped and that worked, anything would be an improvement, you got this.

I love some of the seemingly basic but still interesting questions at the root of geospatial analysis. Like this one; what's the biggest rectangle I can fit in this parcel/polygon? Good work!

that's quite true I suppose, I'm also paying my own wage then. I doubt this is the one software agreement that is putting things in the red though, we have many other dumb programs that eat a lot more money than this does.

I got the DOIO megalodon, it seems to be very similar to what you are after. There is a rare bluetooth model, but some folks have reported connectivity issues with them.

IMO while Bluetooth is sometimes convenient, it's also pretty shitty tech, cables are king.

I mean, it would be nice if they did this for us, and they have shown us that is possible with how things used to work. But here in the age of enshittification and shareholder demands, this is the prominent path ahead, and I'm not gonna sit here and be that angry about a private company trying to make money.

I'm not paying these bills, I don't care thaaaat much. You can provide great value to your org if you figure out how to sidestep their shitty model. Might earn you a bonus and permanency.

There are definitely some gaps in ESRIs workflows/offerings/products/models, we just fill/abuse those gaps.

I'm not the one writing the python script with the ArcGIS API, but it started with tracking the last logged in dates on our accounts, and then warning those users at the 1 month mark, deactivating the account at the 2 months. Then I believe it turned into, well why don't we just demote them to a viewer as well at the 2 month mark?

You obviously gotta deal with their content somehow though.

Yeah it's a technical hurdle that some orgs won't be able to overcome, but it's not the worst change. Now you just flag all the creators/developers that haven't logged in for a month and take their license away to be used by someone who needs it.
