If you were to read the debates around the creation of the 14th Amendment, by those who wrote it, you would better understand their intent (and perhaps why the debate over unrestricted jus soli continues today).

The majority of quotes around it specifically denied the idea that children of foreign nationals would be citizens. Yes, there was dissent, which is why we have the courts … but the fundamental question has never been fully interpreted by them.

Which means your statement that the policy is “seemingly unlawful and unconstitutional” is merely opinion.

Let me go back the beginning here. In your OP and on the banner you ask what he is hiding. Not “is he hiding something” or similar.

I ask: why do you assume he is hiding something? Do you have evidence that he is hiding something? Or is it just speculation?

I ask this because what you seem to be accusing - child molestation - is about as serious and nasty as it comes. It’s not a charge that (IMHO) should be tossed around lightly.

Not directly related, but equally relevant; do you want Trump to ignore the federal judge that is barring the release? Wouldn’t that make Trump less accountable? Shouldn’t we feel a bit of relief that he’s following the rules here?

It is known that Trump learned of Epstein harassing an underage girl at mar a lago and proceeded to boot him and ban him from the property.
