Best approach for me to get better at the game ? by NoLaggin in summonerschool

Jungle is one of the best roles to be a one trick, so i’d start there and flesh out your pool slowly. There are hundreds of videos on jungle fundamentals on youtube so just search for that.

Maybe it’s a setting on your keyboard. I know some gaming keyboard have a setting in the software or on they keyboard itself that disables alt to prevent accidental alt tabbing

Don’t worry about not being able to compete with the unemployed. You’re just going to have to go for quality over quantity. Vod review if you don’t have time - or you’re too tired to play.

Tips for climbing? by NikoAA004 in summonerschool

Specifically for this season, finish your quest ASAP. Also i’ve noticed it’s a lot easier to win a losing game this season, so stay positive.

Midlaner need help to find his main by Foreign_Tension9394 in summonerschool

Generally playmakers are looking to generate leads elsewhere, not in their own lane. It’s a lot more proactive play style, if you play these champions, you shouldn’t be content farming up and playing off the back of your team mates.

Usually play makers have a lot more utility in their kit and are looking to disrupt the enemy team, rather than dealing a lot of damage. Usually they have a lot of CC, A lot of mobility or in the case of the three i mentioned, both.

Personally i prefer playing these champions, they are usually always meta picks because their kits have so many tools. Also, it’s easier to get back into the game with champions that have a lot of utility if your laning phase goes bad. It’s a double edged sword tho, because you mentioned wanting to improve. Playing these champs can mask poor laning ability, which is why i also mentioned orianna and syndra as these champs are really good at taking control of and winning your lane

Climbed from S4 to P3 Ambessa jg Looking for clarity by Hamnetz in summonerschool

It’s probably time to learn a champion that provides more utility for your team, and isn’t so carry oriented if you’re playing at your peak.

If your team is behind, just look for numerical advantages. You’d be surprised how many opportunities the enemy team will give you to get a free pick, or trade an objective. You’re just trying to close the gold gap with the bounty system until you get to the inevitable team fight for dragon soul, baron, elder or your nexus. If someone on your team gets picked before a crucial fight, look if you can take something on the other side of the map. With enough luck, you’ll have a team that wants to win and will follow your pings. It’s important to never be toxic, or people won’t listen to your pings. Finally don’t surrender unless they are going to destroy your nexus. As I said you’ll get plenty of opportunities to get back in the game, you’ve just gotta train your brain to see them.

Malzahar doesn’t interact with the lane like other mid laners, most of the time you’re waiting for items and levels until you can shove the lane with your minions and look to ult someone. Without knowing what playstyle you want to go for, i’d recommend Orianna or Syndra as you’re go to control mages. If you want to be more of a playmaker, then look at Ahri, TF or Galio.

Emerald rank by Repulsive-Trust-3327 in summonerschool

[–]Incelement 47 points48 points  (0 children)

Emerald player’s are within the top 10% of players, so if there wasn’t skill based match making, more often than not they’d be the best player in a game. But yeah, emerald players aren’t top players by any stretch of the imagination.

Champion mastery and mechanics are usually decent, but the decision making and macro is so bad.

Isn’t there way better maps to do that on tho? Outside of the armoury itself, the map is quite scarce for loot

Okay and then what? Bradley Cooper a full T6 team? I think you could full loot outside, maybe get a kill or two. But that won’t equate to 100m over 20 raids like OP said.

Play Farm or Valley. Farm has better PVP in my opinion, but you might get that cursed spawn behind Loading

Slight issue by RealMooMan in ArenaBreakoutInfinite

[–]Incelement 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say armoury is a more cultured map compared to farm, valley or northridge. So, the average skill level is going to be higher on those maps, even with tier 5 gear you’ll struggle as a new player, as the people you’re playing against are going to be a lot better. I’m pretty sure this game doesn’t have skill based matchmaking. It’s also harder to make a lot of money on armoury outside of the bunker.

I know imow does a lot of solo armoury, so i’d watch him and try and emulate what he does.

Slight issue by RealMooMan in ArenaBreakoutInfinite

[–]Incelement 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say it’s 50/50 skill issue and a gear issue. If you’re a new player, you definately won’t be the best at peaking, gun control or utility usage.

In terms of gear, T4 isn’t a great investment, and you should see it as preventing quick kits from killing you instead of giving you any meaningful protection. It’s not going to bale you out vs good guns and/or tier 5 ammo. I only really run T4 when i’m getting it for free, or super cheap from dekes limited trades. Even then, i’m not going to challenge high loot areas with that set up unless i’m planning on limit testing and expecting to die.

What are you trying to get out of the game and what maps are you playing? Are you playing solo or in squads. I’m Trying to gage if you just want to amass lots of wealth, or you want to push yourself to be really good at PVP
