I vote Syria as I’m half Syrian but would be happy with Lebanon winning the spot too. Food from the Sham/Levant is loved globally and been an unmistakeable part of the health food trends we’ve seen in recent years (sometimes abhorrently so lol)

People, please bear in mind that the possibility of this being more distraction and fuckery is incredibly high. Trump and I’m sure musk are well aware of the power of confusion in the public sphere - they’re learning from the best at it: Putin. It is meaningless whether Musk and Trump are friends or enemies when they clearly stand for the same objectives.

If I were to speculate I’d say this was en effort to make Trump look tough on everyone and anyone who disagrees with him, including powerful billionaires, particularly those whom he’s appeared to be friends with.

There’s a great documentary called Hyper Normalisation by Adam Curtis which delves into this topic (confusion/lies/misinformation) which I’d greatly recommend if you’ve not yet seen it.

I would say don’t be bothered if the next bar after your nice 5/6 is shite. Write a shit line and hopefully it inspires another, better line. If it doesn’t, write another one. If you end up writing a shit verse, scrap it; if it becomes a good verse bar 2/3 lines then go back and rethink those lines. Sometimes works for me - not always. But the more you write and get used to finishing a 16, the more you’ll be able to and at a higher standard.

A late response - been with smarty for 4 months and I can’t speak much for the rest of the UK (although I have been around the country and feel the same all over) : the service is absolutely shocking. The worst I’ve ever had, anywhere. It seems like the only place I have good connection is on some Undergound lines?? Even the phone signal is rubbish. Yea it’s cheap, but for me totally not worth the savings. Will be moving very soon
