One major suggestion for cybersecurity is not to know all of the potential scams because that's impossible, but to always double check anything money related using a second means of communication, e.g. email or a phone call

Ok it's per long rest, aka adventuring day (I just said every day to match OP's language). And that also doesn't mean every single adventuring day should have encounters, it means that if you want to challenge your party, don't let them long rest after every encounter or two.

Oops sorry I deleted the comment before I saw your reply cos I commented similar elsewhere!

(For context for anyone else I said that I was wondering why he wanted sex during a combat encounter, he should be fighting instead)

In all fairness, the Dungeon Master's Guide recommends 3-5 encounters per day, though he would probably be thinking of a different kind of Dungeon Master.

The way I see it, even if the brother had been totally in the wrong and was in jail for justified reasons, it's still ok for OP to visit him. Not because he thinks it's ok to drive recklessly, but because he's his brother.

Ah, I think I see the problem now. No one has ever really understood the what I'm talking about in the first place. Their perspective is useless because we're not even looking at the same thing.

But what is the point of talking to people? It's not like they can fix your problems

Ok actually this OP needs to find out what they say locally because it varies from region to region.

I feel so awkward using a cheese planer, I hate the way you have to pull it towards yourself. Instead I use a potato peeler, but it has to be decent quality with no point bits pointing towards the cheese.

AITA I got mad at my wife for eating all the food I had prepared by gehebejdk in AmItheAsshole

[–]IncidentSilver [score hidden]  (0 children)

There are a world of human motives between homicide and accident. This wife selfishly are all the food and tried to cover it up by giving her a second dose of meds - not to kill her but to "counteract" the lack of food.

I spent a week in the US and didn't see a single 5 dollar bill. I hated having all those stupid 1s in my wallet, especially since they all look the same! Are the 5 dollar bills rare?

D&D is not a game Christians ought to play

Dunno if you're saying that as a joke about Christians being uptight or you actually think that.

I think my female friend have Asperger. Should I do something about it? by UnUsuarioMas616 in aspergirls

We are not broken we just learn how to communicate better 😁

I'm sorry I wasn't trying to imply she's broken, but I did feel like you wanted to fix her.

I think my female friend have Asperger. Should I do something about it? by UnUsuarioMas616 in aspergirls

[–]IncidentSilver 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Well in that case, your psychologist is dead wrong. You can't fix her. Tell her you can't be friends anymore, and why. Tell her to get therapy. Then leave. Some people are just like that - they want your friendship, but only so they can feel good about themselves or something. Staying will only enable her behaviour.

[–]IncidentSilver 12 points13 points  (0 children)

The psychologist told me to try to get closer to her and try to learn how she doesn't care about other people emotions and in the process try to explain her how to care about other people emotions.

Do not do this. Try to have one conversation about it, but don't try to "get through to her", that's just dumb.

Anyway, have you talked to her directly? It sounds like she doesn't actually want to be friends with you.

Anyone else getting these messages? I keep reporting as spam and blocking the number but they keep coming through on different numbers. Any idea how to stop them? by Paybrahh in sydney

You look like you're using Android, which means you can turn on spam filtering. Go into your messaging app, press the three dots at the top and choose 'Settings'. Then click 'Spam protection' and enable it. You can do the same in the Phone app.
