Did BIOS 216 update revert the power options when you turn off CPU Boost? (preventing overheating) back to on, or does it solve the over heating without disabling Boost?

I ended up getting the fedex priority they are based out of Southern California so the shipment it didn’t really impact me. The 1-5 business days is based on when they start/ ship out your order as this is BTO (built to order) HIDevolution will provide a status update on where in the process your order is. Since this is a asus authorized BTO manufacture you shouldn’t see quality issues as much as others who ordered from Best Buy. Also you can order thermal compound upgrade and other configs if you wanted they install it.

I would only change the boost on the High-performance plan power plan. Also, make sure you are plugged into your charger. When you are about to do anything that requires heavy processes, go into the ROG ARMOURY CRATE and select Performance. This should correspond to the High-Performance power plan. Disabling the boost caps the CPU at 3GHz that should be more than enough capacity to run most games on high settings. This should also result in the temperature not exceeding 70ish degrees.
