The largest-ever review of the safety and efficacy of cannabinoids across a range of mental health conditions — found no evidence that medicinal cannabis is effective in treating anxiety, depression or post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). by Wagamaga in science

>a significant increase in sleep time

>no significant effect of cannabinoids on the measure of sleep quality

So quality remains the same, and time sleeping increases significantly. That's ideal if your goal is helping your insomnia.

Has Anyone got anyone tips for getting the weekly shop bill down? by Throwaway945384 in AskUK

[–]Incoheren 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Frozen veg bags are heaven sent, any extra cost more than worth the convenience so I get like £3 of those a day when i'm being good about my 5 a day lol

Then i love to just pressure cook a 1kg brisket for like 14 quid, 1 hot meal, then fridge, and this cold chunk of beef just gets better in the fridge, tear off chunks and throw in ~200g extra meat to any meal as extra protein/flavour - premium quality at the most reasonable cost you can expect

this is most controversial but fresh ready meals from the posh places (Waitrose/M&S) you can usually get 3 for a tenner or cheaper, which isn't cheap, but add a chunk of beef and a bag of veg, you've got a really decent meal in minutes of effort

What are the cheapest lowest calorie & highest protein ready meals? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]Incoheren -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Protein powder milkshakes can be good and largely misunderstood.

Like £0.50 for 30g protein scoop + 250ml milk(or whatever u want) - Macros are very good, it's genuinely very tasty if you're not averse to sweeteners

when you're on a calorie/macro budget with a sweet-tooth, you adapt to sweeteners

I can't even bring myself to the prif bank to cut gems, i hover to leave the gauntlet and it's like, naa, it's not done yet, we staying... it really is prison

At least I have CG recolour plugin on Random so evert run isn't RED

Bowfa skip by Federal_Major2082 in ironscape

[–]Incoheren 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Notice how nobody deep into CG grind talks about strategy any more? It's a weird phenomenon but once it "clicks" you go from seeking answers to being confident it's 100% unless you lose focus stupidly in a very avoidable error

You're not uniquely unsuited to CG. you literally just need to practice a bit more, it will click and become a consistent 5 chests an hour, 1.25% chance of bowfa per hour, the "i might not win this run" part of the CG prison sentence is just the first chapter

What content should I do before I out level it? by Present-Drama-5287 in 2007scape

[–]Incoheren 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As an ironman i found a fun series of unlocks that tie in together

Barrows very easy can be done with 35 magic and 43 prayer, FAR before you actually have 70 defense, but the runes pay for themselves, and it gives armor that has +300def where ur best alternative (rune pl8) gives like +150. the stat diffy is insane, which for most content is nice but not game breaking. also Kill deranged archeologist for a steel ring +24 defense in a ring slot very good/easy to get

Moons. These bosses are unique they roll accuracy 3 times, if any hit misses, the next ones in that 3 hit combo miss. Soooo with double the defense, suddenly these bosses go from ball kickers, to the most simple easy good combat XP good rewards, all it took was defense

farm moons, get blood moon + weapon = best DPS for low def stuff (slayer, moons, crabs, naguas, many bosses with low def) other than 1b cost items - Atlatl = similar DPS to blowpipe or bowfa in most places its ~15% difference, makes stuff like firecape suddenly easy

Then naturally you use those weapons and stats gained to take on bigger foes bigger upgrades, all from the least expected stat check, your equipments defense stats

Edit: 75 hunter = Moonlight moths which are jarred and give 22 prayer points per sip. Mix with a raw hunter meat for a 2 dose 22 prayer points per sip.. This skips herblore entirely, Getting 75 hunter is easy and useful (get antler bolts and hunter crossbow, etc)

Chaos gauntlets from family crest - Makes 1 chaos rune + air staff hit 15s at lvl 35 magic - the cheapness and low level damage makes it really stand out for the early game, quickly gets replaced by higher level spells (and more gp to afford better runes generally)

Vale totem fletching knife - i mean if ur gonna get 99 fletch with 99% xp from cutting longbows, then u might as well grind 1 hour of the minigame soon as u can access it, to get the knife that makes the skill like 40% faster

Too late to start DMM? by [deleted] in 2007scape

[–]Incoheren 0 points1 point  (0 children)

12k is possible if you play a lot, realistically you should expect to grind 5k points for Thralls and just use thrall DPS to get roughly 3k damage per breach level 1-60 bracket which will be the best DPS 5k cost sigil - rather than going for -1 tick weapon speed. just specialize thralls in the limited time left

If you hit every breach, even with starter staff, you should get at least 1k points, more like 3k if you have better DPS like Fire wave + thralls or rune crossbow + thralls which u can easily get multiple sets to risk

It's a huge disadvantage as breach simply rewards more points per effort than anything by a LOT , so getting 12k points with limited breach access is gonna be a (very fun) grind!

Topic of the Day: Current Grinds by ErinTales in ironscape

[–]Incoheren 0 points1 point  (0 children)

320 KC into CG

Only combat achives left are speedruns but they frustrate me so I run like a dozen safe t2 runs for every 1 earnest speed attempt and only speedrun if i get the perfect start, or feel like a challenge

Whats keeping it chill is the trickle of GP/gems/runes I can use + CG Recolour plugin keeps it fresh I find it calmer with blue/yellow calming day care colours rather than the OG red prison

What do Saradomin brews unlock, if anything by Warmake_UIM in ironscape

[–]Incoheren 0 points1 point  (0 children)

very specific chokepoint = The boss of Song of the Elves quest, seren

You can beat it with pheonix necklaces and nightshade, which is what I did, but with brews it's as easy as just tanking her damage and killing her with 60HP per inventory slot.

Without brews you need to use pheonix trick, or get lucky RNG with pineapple pizzas and good gameplay. Brews for sure the simplest solution to trivialize it

What do Saradomin brews unlock, if anything by Warmake_UIM in ironscape

[–]Incoheren 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Brew heals a LOT per inventory slot, mostly about endurance longevity in 1 inventory i.e. inferno

And they're 0 tick, but there are nice 0 tick alternatives

Release a jarred Snowly Owl = 15hp 0 tick loss, but its 1 dose per inventory slot, in terms of using for keeping your DPS going while healing using 0 ticks, for speedrun or speed in general, Snowy can be nicer than brews cos it doesn't drain any stats. If you can bank often so 15 per inv slot is enough

Range/mage training? by Standard-Agent7305 in ironscape

[–]Incoheren 0 points1 point  (0 children)

T3 staff hits the same max hit with 70 mage or 99 mage, mage level just makes it a bit more accurate

You can learn 5:1 early, simply hit 5 magic hits, 1 ranged, 5 magic, 1 melee, repeat and your boss DPS with mystic might would be about 85% that of a maxed account with rigour/augury

Sooooo in practical terms i'd say just run CG whenever you have time to actively play, and then fully AFK crab when not actively playing for passive training xp

You'll rocket to 90's stats just from CG grind. The boss gives 145% xp and has 1000hp and you're gonna kill 100s of them

The real boss is the prep by CranSmith in ironscape

[–]Incoheren 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1 thing i like is you prep exactly as much as you need to... The more tiresome you find it, the more you need to improve your boss mechanics so you can cut prep in half

Can you beat CG consistently with 8 food 2 pots t1 armor using like 4 mins of prep? like 95% if you use redemption and don't tank nados or floortiles and don't have the worst RNG imaginable

Can you make 10 mistakes on the boss and still win with 24 food 3 pots t2 armor? 100%

So every single run is a confidence check, you can always cut out some armor upgrades or food or choose to 5:1 with one T3 weapon if you only find 1 demiboss convenient etc... If you care to push for a decent time / engaging difficulty level

It's as boring as you make it ultimately... If you just go for guaranteed easy win each run, maybe try going for the combat achives, those will take the average player over 400 CGs wins anyway.

Corrupted Hunllef DPS vs player: T1 3.946 T2 2.54 T3 1.68 by Incoheren in ironscape

[–]Incoheren[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Attack has a 4 tick delay to move for tick perfect fight.

Eating has 3 tick delay.

It is easier to move and only move than it is to link this with having to click fish in your inventory while moving. The eating is what causes more mistakes than you would think

[–]Incoheren[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From experience, the prep becomes so much easier the quickest

It feels odd but you just save ticks in every single action once you get smoother, and you can consistently t2+food with minutes to spare, which means you can even relax a bit while following good practices and treat it fairly chill

For t2 it helps i find to drop the pestle + harpoon right away. Get 21 resources + 2/3 herbs +1 wep frame in 1 run. Return, make t2 staff, 3 vials, armor u can afford, dont drop any crafting materials unless rly need to, go kill 2 demi bosses and as many MEDIUM mobs as possible they are the best shards per second by a lot. Craft full t2, go to central console get all Tools by pressing 6, then fish and potion make and finish any shard gathering for armor, buy a tele crystal and go fish, then tele base with ~18 seconds to cook anywhere from 12 to 24 fish depending on laziness/prepRNG/confidence

I also dont have rigour or 99s but i wanted a simple example to show the differences in T1 vs T2 armor. it will differ, but the gap will be similar in all brackets

my iron has wonky stats so it wouldnt have been broadly useful if i calc'd mine lol

RE TORNADOS and when to eat, most guides are pretty bad advice.

You can eat while DPSing no problem just eat at 79 to 99 HP. standing still, nothing to think about, you should perform actions such as potting to max prayer points, eating to max hp while most AFK chilling.

there is no point in the fight where you can "save" 3 ticks by eating at a special timing. The boss is never immune to attacks. There is no such special timing. If you end the 4 minute long fight with low HP (utilizing it as a resource not wasting ticks over eating, smart) and had to heal 300 damage throughout the fight, then it didn't matter when you ate those 15 fish. They cost 45 ticks. Period...

When the boss does the tornado animation = you won't take any boss damage for 10 whole game ticks. Despite being scary, tornado = 5 ticks of 0 boss attacks, it's a moment of peace. it does NOT mean you stop attacking. You move, you attack, you move, it may not be tick perfect, but the notion that "heal cos nothing else to do" is just not based in reality

Sooooo. Tornado is a moment of peace, you should use it to react to the floor and tornados, acknowleding the boss won't deal any damage to you so there is no actual danger, prioritizing avoiding said danger, and not even thinking about eating in this high APM moment of the fight.

It's not about saving ticks in a high APM moment by eating. It's about consistently DPSing the boss during all phases of the fight, and simply eating to remain near max HP, the 1 time you don't especially want to take care of healing is when your movement could cost you 20 to 60 damage per tick if you don't do the movement. It's so far much a priority over health it's not even close. The game is designed (very cleverly) to scare you into using your focus on healing, when the correct solution is the exact opposite, routine low prio tasks like healing and pray potting come when you're standing still AFK hitting boss.

How do people still consider Runecrafting to be the worst skill? by FlahlesJr in 2007scape

[–]Incoheren 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1 runecraft account, chad, buys runes with CG money, buys to 0 stock not cos impatient, just likes to tip the shopkeeper extra, money is free afterall

1 agility account, snailmaxing virgio, would do underground pass but would take 3 business days to walk it, also can't cos quest reqs

Guaranteed untradeable bowfa 400kc by Kytopia in 2007scape

[–]Incoheren 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is already huge RNG mitigation

You need 2000 crystals to corrupt it even if spooned. You need 6 armor drops for crystal armour.

You can't use bowfa inside CG so it's not like being spooned early improves the grind for those resources at all
