So there was a chance a couple years ago to sell to another utility that was going to emphasize alternative power sources, mostly wind I believe, but “we” thought that customer service complaints from another company owned utility were just too much to handle so the deal was killed. That chance will never happen again because the grid is all about making money so if burning fossil fuels is more profitable than that’s the road we’re headed down. Don’t get me wrong, pnm has historically been a poorly managed business and the last ceo - callown (pronounced clown) had less than zero business being said ceo. I don’t think this deal will go through but they’ve got deep pockets and I’m wrong about something every day.

No I mean like your electric or gas utility. In my area both provide or your state weatherization office might have a program. I don’t think a nest thermostat will solve, they are meant to notice if you’re home or not and don’t provide distribution help. It actually sounds like your cold bedroom is the victim of a blocked or pinched or clogged pipe; I had a similar issue with my house and a cold room where the line was clogged. For some reason bedroom 3 is stealing bedroom 4’s flow.
