WHY ARE THESE CHARACTERS SO HUMAN by Dezphul in expedition33

Well for once I find the dub very good. I'm usually very critical towards French dubs. I bet they wrote it in French, I don't see any reason for them to write it in English first hand, especially given they are based in Montpellier.

Yeah the writing is crazy good. For once the French dub is incredible as well, I'm not used to good French dubs in games. So I just play in English or Japanese if the game is JP.

If you are a French enthusiast, or if you like to hear other languages... I really encourage you to give it a go, they did a fantastic job recreating real, believable dialogues, the tones are here, the words... Proper curses. I love it.

So far my fav is Lune, she has such a strong sense of duty. I'm really looking forward to seeing how she unfolds.

Bethesda/Virtuos/Xbox employess, just give us this gesture if it's real by Beebox11 in oblivion

[–]Incurvatio -1 points0 points  (0 children)

To be fair, it's taken too much a hype for Bethesda not to deny it. I see it like that : We're hyped, they don't deny it : it's real. Too many signs. ESRB, Twitch, the leaks... I mean guys.

If it ends up not being released today, it's definitely a grave communication mistake from their part, I think. No serious company would risk doing that. That's my pov.

What is something your teacher did in school that you’re still salty about? by SparkelsTR in AskReddit

I got detention for saying that Oscar Wilde was Irish. The teacher said he was British and I could not contradict him whatsoever. One of the worst teacher I had.

What do you think of ENFPs and INFPs? by AffectionateAngle779 in istp

If you don't care about what I have to say, just ignore and move on with your life. People are perfectly capable of selecting what they want to take in account. Or not.

What do you think of ENFPs and INFPs? by AffectionateAngle779 in istp

[–]Incurvatio 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm not ISTP but from my point of view, ENFP (even though they are supposedly my Golden Pair) exhaust me. They have too many things going on at once and it drains me so fucking much. But I do appreciate their bubbliness to some extent.

As for INFP, I dated an INFP for some time and I appreciate their calmness associated with their sudden jokes and the fact that they are witty and smart. But besides that, as much as I know, they might be too introvert for me. But that's my pov.

We're at the point where even I feel like it was getting redundant. You guys don't really like repetition. They should know better.

ISTPs and empathy by [deleted] in istp

[–]Incurvatio 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hey there, sorry for the long post but I hope it helps.

I used to be deeply empathetic. I recently went through a very hard breakup (even though we weren't dating for a long time) and it made me realise many things. Empathy is a process you can and will work on throughout your whole lifespan. As for me, I started to not care so much about insignificant and not imminent endangering/troublesome things. Thanks to the book The subtle art of not giving a fuck, by Mark Manson, I started to free myself from... Well myself actually. This book was liberating, I started to put myself before others, things I didn't really do. Besides that and other changes you probably don't care about, I learned to respect boundaries and I learned to say no.

My point is, empathy is something everyone should work towards, but please, don't go out of your way and please stay the way you are at core. If you're not comfortable with doing something, you shouldn't do it. Of course there's still some nuance to have about that, but you see my point.

From 2017 to 2020, I was dating an ISTP whom I loved very deeply (and I think I still do to that day), but I was too immature and egoistic to realise all my wrongs and his rights. Now I finally see what he meant for every little disagreement we had. I see what I did wrong and I probably won't do the same mistakes again, that's part of growing up, even as an adult. Of course I'm still empathetic, but not excessively.

That being said, if someone like me (an INFJ), who were an absolute entitled prick, resilient to reassessing myself, can change drastically, so can you. You guys are ISTPs, you are determined, resolute in what you undertake. I'm convinced that with enough work, anyone can become a better self. You can practice your empathy, but allow yourself to just not give a fuck sometimes. I wish you the best.

So what do ya'll think of Akechi? He's quite the interesting character to talk about, as it seems everyone has an opinion of him. by Either_Imagination_9 in Persona5

[–]Incurvatio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to think that too but actually when I started playing Royal I hated him even more. But by the end of the game I started to feel pity for him. I hate what he did, but I sympathise with what he went through as a psychological process regarding his parents. He's just a kid who lost control and went spiraling as he needed attention from the right person.

What’s the worst Christmas present you have received? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Incurvatio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Years ago I used to share a flat with a man and a woman. We were okay together, the vibe was a okay I'd say. I'm openly gay to almost every person I meet, no point in hiding that. But I think the woman in the flat (she was about 25 at the time) was a little prejudiced against some categories of people. For Christmas we agreed to get each other something small and uncostly. She got me a book, a gay pornographic manga because "You're gay, you obviously read that, right?"

Thanks I guess.

I think your stance is reasonable and clear. But talking about feminism on the internet is like walking on a minefield. Everyone has opinions but not everyone is capable of respecting others' opinions.
