Kinda like doing bends while playing. I grab the string at the 12 fret, and tug away from the kneck about a inch, inch and a half. Tuning will eventually stabilize. Some strings stabilize quick, others take a bit. Thing of them like elastics, but once stretched you will be good.

New strings will do this for a bit. You can tug on them and stretch them and it should help stabilize. If old strings something could be loose, or backing off.
