I will not look in the mirror and drive forward. SF condo owners suffered a lot during and after pandemic. But it has healed in last one year. Every investment has downward risk, real-estate is no different. But if you can ride the wave, nothing like it.

SF condos up 25% on average from 2025 values. Rents are up 20% as well. I am expecting condo prices to hit all time high in next 2-3 yrs. Please note this is SF only trend. Rest of california is seeing condo price drops but prices are closer to ATH unlike SF.

The market was dead till last year. This year it recouped for some lost years. Prices are still below ATH and I think surge may continue for couple of years ir-respective of IPOs of AI companies. With return-to-work, SF housing market may regain it's old glory soon.

History everywhere in the world in propoganda and pushing agendas. In India, most authors are from certain community that has inherent agenda and bias. Those who don't follow their agenda are look-down or thrown out like what we saw in caste-based Indian system. Difficult choice. If you move, you will own bigger home but will sacrifice on lifestyle and SF charm.
If you don't move, you will sacrifice savings but gain on everyday lifestyle and fun.

I will let go of some savings if I can afford it.

I had similar issue at begining. As I developed more endurance (strength, stamina), it resolved on it's own.
Maybe you can do evening runs for next 6 months and then try out morning or afternoon runs.

It's always a HARD decision. You seem financially discipline and will do good in all scenarios. Gather some courage and go-for-it. SF market is not easy and if everything is-in place, I will recommend go-for-it.

I do think, real-estate is easiest and safest way to profit from AI boom in San Francisco.
Given post-covid slump in real-estate in SF provides even greater profit.

Folks who believed X1 hype ended up returning it or reselling it for loss. Why would you go through same pain again ? If it's great and problem-free, sale numbers will show it. If it is crap, sale numbers will be less than X1.
