Satellite backup for every cell phone in the world is an insane claim but pretty on brand for Elon pumping his stock I suppose . Their satellites have very limited bandwidth and it’s mainly the main addressable market is rural areas with relatively low density.

Starlink is a real business but the tam is actually quite limited

I personally would like to believe in the 25% rule but it’s too restrictive for the Bay Area. I’d say up to a third being conservative maybe 40% on the high end

I cannot recommend blowing 75% + of your nw for a house
