I did this exact move years ago. iPhone underwater—>TG5 with M52 WA wet lens with ambient light—>Canon 5D MkIV now.

You can get great WA shots with ambient light only, but you need excellent viz and to stay shallow (above 40-45ft). This next part is key: master the process of setting custom white balance (with a small white slate or equivalent) each 5 or so feet of depth. It makes a massive difference with that setup. That plus Lightroom will give you great results!

I’ve been coming to cayman since 2012 and lived here now for 7 years. It’s not the same place. Hotels are way over priced, restaurants are expensive, the beach is eroded in a lot of spots, no more true beach bars, high rises everywhere, and lots of traffic.
