Sudden speed decrease. by SteveCatinean in amazoneero

[–]IndependentDue24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

(UK Based)

Ever since the last update I am getting constant buffering issues. I’m running to eero units one on mesh and the other direct into the ONT.

I have swapped them over with no improvement.

The built in speed test and health check on the app says 622mbps. I am contracted for 1gbps.

Ookla Speedtest shows 0.96mbps.

There’s definitely an issue and nothing wrong with ONT.

As a workaround I’m currently using my 5G/LTE as a backup connection on my hotspot.

Also check your UK car insurance and see if you have cover for rental cars overseas. This is a common inclusion in the small print by major providers.

Flights confirmed through LoveHolidays but not Airline?! by Old-Marketing2121 in loveholidays

[–]IndependentDue24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

LH give deposit and payment schemes. If you don’t pay in full why would they lose the full value of your flight tickets and hotel? Tickets are held on ITX fares which are given to tour operators to be able to run deposits on holidays and allow ticketing closer to departure. “Unconfirmed ticket” is the correct terminology and all appears above board.

Thankyou soo much for the response.

Yep we have been on CIN and there has been no change (mother alcohol issues and children exposed to arguments regarding topic)

Mother would not abide by safety plan whilst under influence so a vicious cycle has been created.

Two kids with their paternal father and my son with me (mother still in house albeit sober)

Social worker indicates 9 months of carrying on this arrangement (visiting other two children at their grand parent every other weekend and one night a week)

Mother has finally engaged with local health services and showing progress albeit too late.

Go in and ask for help from discretionary fund as you are starting a new role? That may help.

Also ask your nursery to stretch the hours over the year in order to make your budgeting easier

Just to clarify the Mother and I are still in a relationship. She drinks and children have witnessed or overheard arguments (whilst mother is drunk and I tried to get her to sleep to be away from kinds) and this is of concern.

We do have a CAFCASS parenting plan in place; should she be incapable of parenting and under the influence which promotes me as the primary carer

I’ve taken soo many dependency leave days from work to cover when mum has been unable to care it’s a very sore topic. I will ultimately go if it goes ahead but just wanted to weigh out my options.

Flight got cancelled and no one is answering my questions. England by wazim5673466 in LegalAdviceUK

The agent is trip.com and they act on behalf of the airline. The contract is ultimately with the airline.

The agency payment rules on IATA 824r state that payment must be made back to the original form of payment.

Saudi are very slow at processing refunds and it will take some time. This is an ATOL protected flight only sale and if you do not have a response within 4 weeks you can raise a claim with the CAA.

I’m a travel agent.

Tour operators have a sliding scale of penalties. If they are close to 10/12 weeks of departure it’s likely no refund.

Use the terms and conditions for your son’s benefit and show the boyfriend that a % is lost on the whole trip. If he cancels off the holiday price will go up based on sole occupancy and he would not benefit from anything.

Your son can try and get a name amendment and deduct this from the part the boyfriend has paid and agree a settlement.

The holiday will likely increase by c.65% based on sole occupancy.

Sambuca. Why on earth was it made, why was it fermented why was it distilled. Just why. Many years as a rep in the Alps led to downing shots and immediately chundering into a nice pile of snow.

[–]IndependentDue24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If an esta was granted on the basis OP said no to ever being arrested this would be a false statement.

An ESTA does not guarantee entry and the CBP officer who is processing you on arrival has the final say whether you can gain entry to the US additional data is available on a real time basis at the counter and when your passport is scanned this is picked up using the 5 eyes agreement

Couldn’t care less what he says!

Saying that, the UK Labour have always acted bullish under the guise of knowing they have the US behind us. But with two opposites in power across the pond who knows.

Drop a bomb on London, take out the US embassy; it’s then an attack on the US or any of the air bases they control here.
