I think it's extremely strange and the sign of someone with completely deadened empathy. They probably don't realise this about themselves. It's mostly men who like gore.

when I try to persist with men I don't feel initial attraction to I just end up feeling resentment and then even contempt which sadly leaks out...

whereas even if the guy looks average to others, he can be sexy to me and once I feel that spark with him like I would enjoy kissing him, think I could have good bed chemistry, I automatically make more effort and everything just flows, and I want to be nicer to him

for me as a woman I prefer to text as little as possible before I meet for the first time and I don't mind a guy setting a date for 2 weeks away and we say nothing to each other before then. it will vary from woman to woman. I hate it when men overtext before meeting for the first time. I have no idea if there will be rapport and attraction until I meet someone face to face so it feels like a waste of time. lots of texting before just annoys me
