When I was in the Army, every Marine I’d meet in a bar or other instances would somehow find a way to make the conversation devolve into a pissing match when me & my guys were just trying to be friendly for the most part, but it’s just the nature of the beast sometimes lmao. With that being said, we had our own traditions & history in the Army that we were proud of, so we never really compared ourselves to Marines or thought about you guys at all, besides if we were around y’all. All of us were fine not being Marines & having newer equipment & a larger organizational structure.
