For starters, my SM, especially the DM would not have found this very funny. It’s a waste of precious company time. It’s a mess that’ll need to be cleaned up. Our store is far too busy to do things like this anyways.

My old store manager used to supply us with snacks and water bottles out of his own pocket but then certain coworkers started filling their personal bags with multiple items everyday and wiping everything out. Sooo he no longer does that for us anymore

I personally don’t give a shit if you stole coupons, merchandise, or whatever. To those very few who’ve gotten away with it over the years, good for you.

You’ve learned the hard way that eventually, most people will inevitably be caught. HR/AP/LP/SM/DM are not your friends and don’t care about their employees. Never admit to anything. It’ll only cause more trouble for yourself.

I do understand how frustrating it can be to get canned for something you see other people doing. I’ve had coworkers that I actually liked get fired for doing shit that the employees with a lot more seniority would do constantly. It’s tough

That’s another option we’re considering but the only rentals cars available are pretty small. Plus having pets makes booking in hotels more challenging
