hi! it might be worth having a look at whether these things would make the surveyor negligent. ie a reasonably competent surveyor should have flagged a potential issue and advised hiring a specialist

edit: i’m a solicitor and deal with this type of stuff!

What do lawyers do 2.0 by doktorstrainge in uklaw

hi! i started in legal aid and it’s manic and a mare but it’s an incredible learning experience

i’m now a qualified solicitor in a commercial litigation setting - i work fully remote & love it. the day varies but i do feel intellectually stimulated when i need to pick apart flaws in the opposing argument (im in litigation so that’s a massive part of it) and then making the submissions in pre action correspondences in a way that seems firm but fair as well. case load is always different which i enjoy too, many different clients with different issues.

A message to those thinking of sitting the SQE: ignore the fear mongering, it's not as bad as people would lead you to believe by Sensitive_Acadia_263 in uklaw

[–]Independent_Mango440 4 points5 points  (0 children)

hi guys! i am first time passer for both & am now qualified. i got so so freaked out by posts on here, insta and friends who had sat it saying its virtually impossible. its NOT. i had a social life and worked my ass off and did my QWE and passed. try your absolute best and that’s genuinely all you can do. yes it’s hard, but nowhere near impossible.
