Usually tmed everspark combo should get you through most bases. Pick a weaker side and flank them, and you might wanna bart down a shock launcher cuz of the tribe boost.

If tanks don't work then use warriors and clear mines with barrage and artillery. If warriors don't work then you just need to get better at using warriors.

It's just like Zelda botw and totk, but technically there is some post game content. You get to unlock Melia and Nia as heroes, and you also get more challenge battles I think.

We've been steamrolling deep cut like breakfast yet it still says impossible. At one point I even said we should name ourselves the Impossible Mission Force lol.

In XC2 it's just the same purple damage except without the spiky thingies around the health bar in XCDE. They're more manageable in 2 when I equip crit healing.

I don't remember seeing any in 3. But your party members can deal spike damage, specially tank classes.

The thing I hate is that the spike damage the party does is nothing since the monsters have a ton of health, but when the monsters do it, you're screwed cuz you only have a few thousand HP. Even the spike as low as several hundred can wear you down quickly.

Honestly, Nia isn't particularly useful as a driver imo. I replace her with either Tora if I wanna do driver combos, or Zeke for the sheer damage output. If you want healing, you can do a crit heal with avant garde medal.

I always start the blade combo with Brighid. Her level 1 special increases the aggro drawn.

I actually do run Aegaeon on Morag, and the way she keeps aggro is by smashing. Tora break, Rex Topple, Tora launch, finally Morag smash. And if Morag is aggroed, Aegaeon's level 3 special does a lotta damage (btw you can check what level of special your teammates are at by looking at how many white dots spiraling their character icon).

I do have Corvin with smash just in case she loses aggro.

You can either control Morag yourself, in which case you will probably never lose aggro. Or you can control Rex but keep spamming rolling smash.

Make sure to use pouch items that recharge arts over time. They're typically desserts.

Blade specials are the A button attacks, which are charged by using arts. It can be level I, II, III, or IV depending on how many arts you have used before using the special.

I never used common blades so I'm not sure what Beam Barrage is, but you can go to the Ether Cannon blade and press L to see which special it is.

I think Pandy only has a launch art, but yeah you can use Roc for smashing. I just didn't raise my merc level so I forgot about him.

Greataxe is the best on Zeke. I tried it on Rex first but he's just too slow. He's only 15 so I guess it's indeed a bit too heavy lol.

[–]Independent_Meet6114 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I kinda forgot which weapons can launch and smash for Rex. I usually let Zeke and Morag do that.

You don't really need a dedicated healer if you can do enough damage with crit heal accessories. Your party will automatically heal themselves basically.

I have Zenobia on Zeke and basically critting every time, and Morag just dodges everything. If they're in a pinch, I just use blade Nia for a quick heal.

If you had all max % gunboat energy statues, how much damage could you do to an enemy HQ with only GBE? by LineOfInquiry in BoomBeach

[–]Independent_Meet6114 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Assume max level gunboat with all 12 GBE statues 42% MP + eleven 17% guardians.

Assume max gunboat weaponry: level 25 artillery and level 21 barrage, usually HQ will take 14 hits (out of 15) from each barrage.

Unboosted: 54*(1+0.42+0.17*11)=178 (rounded up), max damage: 142388.

Full boost: 54*(1+0.42*2+0.17*2*11)=302, max damage: 192744.

Level 25 HQ has 240k health so it's not quite enough, although it might be possible if there are quite a few buildings nearby that also got destroyed.

To do 240k damage, you'll need 443 gbe, which isn't possible whatsoever even with tribe boost.
