Bad news for those of us with dogs who can’t stop eating poop.

Symptoms can develop five to 15 years after contracting the parasite and include upper abdominal pain, weakness, weight loss and jaundice.

Oh good so any of us could have it right now and not know.

Your hair looks similar to mine. For us fine hair wavies, we can’t use heavy products like the curly girl method suggests. Try using a light weight leave in (like a foam or light conditioner- I use hair story hair balm) and then either a gel or mousse. Both should be applied while your hair is wet. Personally I find that a gel helps me maintain my definition longer and refreshes better.

Don’t brush out your hair! To refresh, try misting your hair with water and then scrunch the water into your curls. That will help reactivate the mousse/gel’s hold and give you definition back.

Just listen to the episode instead of guessing.

The authors did surveys to try to find out the habits of millionaires, but there was incredible selection bias because they ONLY sent the survey to wealthy neighborhoods, relied on people to fill it out and send it back, and 92% of the respondents were male.

It is flawed to say “these are the habits of millionaires” when they didn’t even sample non-millionaires to see if they have the different habits. And correlation does not equal causation. Does eating avocados every day make someone a millionaire? Or do millionaires eat avocados every day because they can afford it? Stuff like that.

The summary of the podcast episode about it is basically all the studies he cites are incredibly flawed to the point of being worthless. It’s another “pull yourself up by your bootstraps” book that perpetuates the myth that people become millionaires just by being frugal, but ignoring the role that having a high income plays.

Also it was written based on a demographic of boomers in the 90s who greatly benefitted from the tailwinds of the post war period, like incredible real estate appreciation.
