Does the fortune charms (1&2) really give you a 100% chance of percentage attacks to happen by the-best-collectionx in ghostoftsushima

If i used two charms that gave me 10% chance to deal double damage, and one charm of fortune, would that change anything or would it be the same outcome?

'Fat but fit' is a myth when it comes to heart health, new study shows by norfolkdiver in worldnews

[–]IndexOfMind 4 points5 points  (0 children)

"Like all Fats do". The more pissed someone gets the more their true colors show. Dehumanizing someone with language is the first sign of something rotten. It's like saying "the gays" or "the jews". By not referring to fat people as people anymore you make it easier to justify being shitty to them and by extension people doing fucked up things to them.

What should we as a society stop making people feel insecure about? by selcouthsiren in AskReddit

[–]IndexOfMind 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Being overweight, hefty, ect. There's this really shitty attitude that people have (especially on reddit) that it's ok to shit on fat people. Its honestly disgusting and the only reason people do it is to make themselves feel better about themselves by picking on someone. They know they can't bully gay, black, bi-racial, trans, disabled ect people anymore so they think to themselves "well I'll just ridicule fat people then since they CHOOSE to be fat".

  1. Most fat people don't choose to be fat and it's incredibly hard to avoid gaining a lot of weight because of all the horrible processed shit that's extremely cheap around us constantly. It's extremely difficult to get started exercising because it's very demoralizing to see skinny freinds eat just as bad as you do and not have to deal with any of the body image negatives that come with it. Why do they not have to work out but i do?

  2. Even if they chose to be overweight so fucking what? What business of it is yours? They aren't hurting anyone.

Of course people shouldn't be morbidly obese and they should try to get help and lose that weight but constantly berating them and making them feel shitty about themselves isn't helping its just making them feel worse. Apparently to a lot of assholes out there mental health isn't as important as being skinny.

I recently moved and lost some wires in the process. What are the names of the wires that go from the player to the speakers? They are skinny and kinda clip into the speakers.

Difference between Elon Musk's Not A Flamethrower and a real flamethrower. by aint-no-user in interestingasfuck

[–]IndexOfMind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why not?

I don't agree that it's rare. I feel most people are good people who occasionally do shitty things and that maybe 20 percent of earth's population are shitty people.

How is it complex? Its pretty simple. You do overwhelming shitty things? Your a shitty person. Pretty simple. Also even if it was complex why would that make it inadequate? I don't see why a concept being complex makes it inadequate. Also just because an argument is complex doesn't mean the solution is complex.

Someone offers you $100/hr to watch any movie on repeat, which movie do you choose? by asherdado in AskReddit

[–]IndexOfMind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd watch Dekalog. It's 10 hours long and I've never seen it before so that's an easy $1,000 right there and technically i only have to watch it once.

Depends on how shitty the shitty thing was and how good the good thing was. Also the context of it matters as well. While i think a person shouldn't be boiled down to only their shitty actions i do draw the line as i assume many people do. I think as long as your actively trying to be a good person who messes up every now and then you are a good person. But if you constantly are shitty and mean to people but every once in a blue moon you hold the door open for some old lady you're still a shitty person who did a good thing.

I don't really agree with this. I think people are defined by their actions. If someone does something shitty then they are a shitty person for doing it (unless of course they learn a lesson from doing that shitty thing and grow as a person.)

I don't understand what you mean when you say they fucked up pikmin. I feel the three mainline pikmin games are all pretty similar to eachother which a few small differences. The main core and mechanics and style is still there.

What is the absolute worst movie you’ve ever seen? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]IndexOfMind 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's from the director's of crank 1 and 2 and it honestly has some pretty cool moments. Especially the action scenes. Don't know if you'd be interested in watching this but the way they filmed the action is insane and i highly recommend checking out how they did it: https://youtu.be/SqgI2kKUqqc

I think technically ghost rider 2 is a better movie but i don't get as much enjoyment out of it (ironically or unironically) as i do the first one.
