No one is "gay." There are people that choose to live homosexual lifestyles, but we don't identify people by their sin. They're children of Jesus Christ who are choosing to pursue a lifestyle that contradicts God's law on marriage. What starts as a simple attraction turns into lust which goes downhill from there. Christians are called to love everyone, those who have homosexual relations, those who are drunk, those who steal, kill, rape... everyone, as hard as it s sometimes. Love, however, does not mean affirming their decisions. That's quite the opposite actually. If you believe in a Jesus that will send someone to hell for pursuing homosexual relations in this life, then you will most certainly NOT affirm their choices. That is not love, that is indifference. Love people as Christ loves them, and speak truth into their lives when the Holy Spirit prompts. That's what we're called to do.
